"Sourav Ganguly" is the man of pure determination and inspiration to all our Indian youngsters. He is the best ever cricket captain that India has ever produced. He is the only captain who stood against all odds and succeeded in giving a new look to Indian cricket. I am proud of our dear "DADA" who I believe is a real Champion!!!!! - Moloy Kumar Mukherjee, Ukhra-West Bengal/ Bangalore-Karnataka, India
Saurav was,is & will be the comeback king of Indian Cricket. Where is Mr. Srikanth D who had challenged me that Dada will not score more than average of 25 runs this series. I think he must be surely licking his lips.
I am your great fan. I work only half day in office. remaining half i search your site. I really miss u my dearest ganguly. Please come back in any form of regular cricket again
Man,Dhoni is a big politetion..First he puresherize kumble, ganguly for resign, and then play with mind infrent of emotional India public to grap the fame and respect and leadership as well..and now its turn for dravid, sachin, laxman and amny more....wait and watch.. hats off to dhoni's mind game's..whats your view do tell me
he instilled self-belief, courage and aggression in Indian cricket players and turned them into a unit. Where Team India stands now in Cricket is all because of him. He has done one thing that no other Indian captain has done.Showed how they can consistently win overseas....I would rate him as the greatest Indian Cricket Captain ever....
one of the most aggorant, emontionless, aggressive captains i have ever seen ...... whtr winning or losing dada has always taken the credit .. truly a gr8 captain ..

Most selfless and true champion - left the scene with maximum glory ever seen in Indian cricket and look at the other 3 either waiting to be kicked out or playing on by oiling BCCI thugs!!!

There could be no dispute that Saurav was the best captain that India ever produced! The records say it all. However, I feel that he was slightly casual in his approach if we look at him as a batsman. Batting in cricket is all about application & concentration. While he had all the skills to have gone past the average of 42 plus in test as well as in ODIs, he didn't do justice with his abilities during his long first stint. It was only after he was made to sit out, he came back with all his guns blazing and this time to prove to the world applied a greater degree of application that resulted in his awsome averages in his second stint. I wish he would have done it all his career so that we could have seen him departing with 35 plus 100s in test and near 40 100s in ODIs.

U better know the reality Mr.Gundappa Think of 2000 when sachin resigned selfishly like a coward as his avg for last 6 months was 24 and INDIA is losing almost everything, Then a champion called SOURAV GANGULY took over the side. After that everybody knows the story - INDIA started winning AWAY matches, INDIA lifting the TROPHY in PAK and AUS after 3 decades, INDIA reaching final of world cup, INDIA becoming the only team winning against AUS consistently, to mention few of them. even great modern day captions- STEVE WAUGH and FLEMING praised Ganguly saying that he is the best caption INDIA has ever produced. ( i think they know more than U atleast ).
