I feel its too early to say indian team is no 1 eventhough they beat no 1 aussies easily.. dont forget all srs and jrs dancing against ajanta mendis in srilanka not too long back. so let them face mendis again. let them find get rid of him first.
It was unfortunate that Gautam Gambhir missed the Man of the series award. Despite sitting out the last test, he is the highest run getter in the series. Australia is great side, which has lost only 4 series in last 10 years. So, it is a good victory for India. that too India won both the tests with huge margins.

I think Harbhajan should be the Man Of the Series. He has also taken 15 Wickets and scored 2 Half centuries in the series which were decisive in deciding series.

Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketer that india has ever made. hats off to him. He have enough honour to sourav as asked him to lead the team from front at the end. This might be the atmost honour one can get at his last innings . Good bye sourav. Indian cricket would miss you for ever.

It might be premature to count Dhoni as one of the greats in Indian cricket. No doubt he has a potential for being one.

After Dhoni took over captaincy, he brought us T20 World Cup, won many ODI series, all 3 Test he won. In all these matches, his contiribution with the bat whhen the team was struggling was simply amazing. what else you need from a good captain.

There is no need for saying how long will he will win. The point here is that the honor which he has given Ganguly & Kumble on their farewell, which had not happened before like this.

Kapil Dev too honoured Gavaskar in his last test when Gavaskar went for toss instead of Kapil in 1987 Bangalore test. That was last test for Gavaskar.
