Congratulating MSD for trouncing Aus by 172 runs
by Sneha on Nov 13, 2008 12:21 PM

Dear MSD,

Not one but 172 congratulations to you for injuring the kangaroos so badly in the hometown that they'd get desperate to compensate 'the faux pas' with another satisfying triumph!!!

The frequency of Aussie wicket fall was just enjoyable & planning was terrific & more importantly the success of spinners costed the visitors, as thought by Indians!!

Excellent effort by the team & MSD. The runs-margin has hurt the Aussies very deeply for sure.

Alongwith such a flamboyant victory, you also gifted Anil Kumble the opportunity to lift the BG Trophy and pleased Dada by letting him get into the previous skipper's shoes for a couple of overs on 10 Nov, the day on which he first led his team, then. Wow what a memorable cheerio for the Awesome Duo!!!!

With Bhajji & Mishra spinning the visitors to their tunes, Sachin's 100th catch in Tests was an icing on the cake!!!!

Now, it seems as if The team is a perfect MSD trained one, isn't it? That you & the team gifted both the maestros an excellent & deserving send-off, their advice & best wishes will accompany your winning strategies forever.

700 Best wishes to you for the upcoming India-England 7 match ODI series!! Hit these visitors too, with an MSD punch.

Remembering Ganguly Nat King Cole Way

The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your shadow getting long;
of those sun-burnt hands that used to hit the ball.

Since you go away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my dear
When autumn leaves start to fall!

by JayshreeDiagnostics Jayshreediag on Nov 11, 2008 01:19 PM

feel its too early to say indian team is no 1 eventhough they beat no 1 aussies easily.. dont forget all srs and jrs dancing against ajanta mendis in srilanka not too long back. so let them face mendis again. let them find out the way to get rid of him first.

dravid should retire or kicked out...
by arvin g on Nov 11, 2008 12:00 PM

it is about time media stop protecting this boring useless crumbled wall... if he does not announce retirement then he should be kicked out... india does not need to give graceful exit to a traitor like dravid who along with his guru chaapal tried to destroy indian cricket by spreading false rumors about senior players... if his dirty tricks have worked then media was all ready to force greats like ganguly, kumble, sachin, sehwag to retire...

ausis played positivly

Indian won as usual, this is the worst ausis test team ever visited in india, but India did not play as usual , remember stev's ausis was best team they crushed by indians and end of dream their 16 consecutive victory. I don't think captaincy was just average (as just below comapre to ganguly), everybody trying to prise dhoni like anything, but i did not see any exra ordinary movements.(he alwyas shuffling bowlers it won't work out alwyas )engelend visiting india, this indian team far behind englend team(without seniors) but playing in India is the advantage, but still i beleive englend will win serious if they played their game.

Even after Captaining 40 or more tests and having good winning percentage Ricky Pontings captaincy was now in question.
But 3 test captaincy from Dhoni has been praised a lot. Stop that, a good captain or not can be judged only from many tests, series, not only from home, overseas too. Wait for some more time.
All credit for winning this series I believe should be for not getting the chance to chase a total in fourth Innings for India.

Did you see the field placement which Dhoni made in last test. Have you ever seen that kind of field placement? Was it an ordinary movement?

Hats off!
by manoj ak on Nov 11, 2008 09:19 AM

Hats off to Kumble for making a very good decision at the right time...
Bajji is a match winner!
Its sad tht Ganguly was treated so unfairly by BCCI... he is one of the best India ever produced.
Dhoni is a real champion, highly respected player and captain...even by the Aussies here in Australia .
