aussie team could break the jinx
by raj on Nov 10, 2008 02:34 PM  | Hide replies

aussie team is no longer the team it used to be. every few decades, there come a few men who rise beyond expectations. the 2 greats of warne and mcgrath have not yet been replaced by australia. and they miss them sorely.

india thumped the oz team comprehensively.

yup, australians were winning just because of warne, mcgrath, and sledging.
Without it they are no better than Bangladesh.

as a barometer of how a team will perform, the past records, do help teams either break those barriers and surpass, or it serves as a guideline for either of a team.

it was easy for team india. the record was never broken, the oz team loser miserably.

by tyagarajan kumaraswami on Nov 10, 2008 07:45 AM

There is no point in discussing the past events. The present strength of the Indian Team excluding some members can and will bring credit to Indian team. there is no doubt in it. amen

:) i'll cheer for india to go all out and bowl the aussie team to shame. no longer are they the team who bravely predicted the outcome of a series beforehand.

so statistically its almost an impossible task for the oz team
by raj on Nov 09, 2008 11:03 PM

looks like getting 382 in india is pretty darn difficult. i will cheer for india to go for the kill, and sweep the series. there's been too much trashtalk by the aussie team, they deserve a thumping defeat.
