that is his batting style. he cant bat like dravid.
Sehwag, who has a reputation of being a hit-or-miss criceter, becaame the first Indian batsman to score a triple hundred when he smashd 309 runs against Pakistan in Multan, which not just won the match for India but also firmly established him as a match winner & he scored those runs almost run a ball.

Batting style and irresponsibility are two different things. He should play according to the situation like all other seniors play. It doesn't mean he should play like Dravid. But should think about his shot selection and try to play safe shots. After Dravid wicket he was trying to play reverse sweep.
In spite of all these he is what he is. These are all your inventions. One can not be what one is if your summary is true. People will remember him, journalist will chase him. He is already a legend. Has shewag won matches under the captaincy of dhoni?
After return , he saved Adelaid test on last day of test....he won the second test in lanka singlehanded... South africa first test 300 was under kumble as well.
Dhoni has won two test, SA last & current in mohali .. but shewag's contribution was not there
Dhoni has captained VB series in Aus , but shewag was left out ... then Srilanka oneday series was without shewag...
He was dropped in one of the match in Asia cup & we all know Asia cup final shot..
Is there something brewing or it is just coincidance...

who made 66. must be sehwag's ghost. that is his natural game of attacking. sometimes it works, sometime it wont. it doesnt proove that he wont play under dhoni's captiancy. infact dhoni was a non-performer under kumble's captaincy.

Dhoni was first who blasted against M.Asif. Just remember the reaction of S.Akhtar after he trashed him in his 148 runs knock. Rememberthe reaction of Lara when Dhoni went for 4 consecutive sixes in WI. He is in the team beacuse he is performing.

They will do. They have done so many times in past. But why Sehwag don't have this skill. I only remember his 200 in SriLanka only where we needed a big inning. Otherwise all the hundreds came at flat tracks where test ended in a draw.

Consistency and Virender Sehwag usually do not go together but the Indian opener, often criticised for being reckless, is got a consistent record of ninth consecutive 150-plus knock in a total of 13 Test hundreds that he has struck so far. & 2 triple centuries. wasn't that a big score? infact two 300 hundreds were the fastest.

still you said he plays only on flat track etc...etc...if india didnt win the match ispite of sehwag contribution, then its his bad luck that no other player fired up at the same time. to win the test match you should have bpwlers to take 20 wickets.

My point is we have seen so many times when Sachin, Dravid, Laxman and Ganguly have played big innings when needed very much. Why Sehwag don't have so many innings of that kind? He is good player but so irresponsible.
