Kumble what a jerk?
by Sachin on Nov 02, 2008 08:50 AM  | Hide replies

The guy has failed for 6 test matches,is 38 years old and has already treated the young spinner Mishra badly by underbowling him(rightly pointed out by Vengsarkar)to top it all gave a mouthful of abuse to Amith Mishra on the outfield when Mishra for no fault of him kept chasing a wide four that was totally unreachable,i hate this guy,i hate Krish Srikanth more who dont have the guts to drop any of the seniors, man i wish Amith Mishra was a marathi and Raj Thackre seen the abuse that Kumble put him thru,Mishra was very sad,if it was me even risking my cricketing career would have reported it to the media....

Mish was not under bowled. It is wrong. He bowled highest number of overs of 47 for 144 runs and 2 wickets. It was not his day. He could not get wickets. SImilalry in every other innings it was the early wickets of openers which helped India. But in this test the Indian fast bowlers did not get an early break through. That makes a lot of difference to Aussies performance.

Kumble is fading
by Crick fan on Nov 02, 2008 06:36 AM  | Hide replies

Last 10 matches he has picked up 28 wickets, that too mostly tailenders as he did even yesterday, at an average 50.58.
Either he has lost his sting or he is fading soon.

Kumble
by Suman Bhat on Nov 02, 2008 06:13 AM  | Hide replies

Nameske captian dhoni is in hurry to become test team captain. In Mohali test his pergomance was totally diff??!!
Dhoni did not support AK in Blore test He did not scored runs also wktkeeping was not so good and dropped easy catch during kumble's bowling
India won’t win test under Kumble’s leadership bcuz some of his teammatess do not support his captaincy. . The great tendulkar is non official captaion, manager coach and chief selector
& namesake captain dhoni is playing diff game after kumble got hurt
it happened in Bangaluru
When dravid was captain he was betrayed by some of his vvip players of team india and now it is the turn of kumble.
Ind media, and circ experts will come with dobule mouth critising kumble and praising dhoni and tendulkar
nobody will speak against the dirty politics by so called great of game supported by strong mumbai lobby
Already Ravishastri suni gavaskar criticing kumbl'e captaincy and Prasiing Dhoni,,campaigning tendulkar's playing WC!!
Kumble need not give any chance to dravid he will be removed from test team in same manner he had shown the door from odis, Laxman might suvivy a bit longer bcuz of dobule 100s ganguly already called it day
Dirty politics and double standard!

Hello yoga guru
Discuss cricket. DOn't use rough language or attack people who write messages. About any player it is better not to come to a conclusion after just one test. Mishra's performance by many as excellent just after one 5 wicket innings was uncalled for. He can't be now blamed as useless either because he got only 2 wickets. Give some time and then criticise or form opinion. Amit Mishra is definitely a future spinner for Indian cricket., He has to be supported and nurtured. Dhoni's game in the 3rd test 1st innings was not good. Hope he does well if gets a chance in the second innings.

There's definitely some politics going on, it's obvious. Simple catches are dropped, the night watchman refuses to bat through four or five overs, what else do you call it?

India can also win from here
by nitin on Nov 02, 2008 03:14 AM  | Hide replies

If Australia has an outside chance of winning then India also has an equal chance of winning. All they have to do is bat and bowl professionally, bat well for another 40 overs take the lead close to 250. Give Australia 50 overs to chase 250 runs and you never know as its a 5th day track and India has 3 spinners. If they can think aggressive, they might manufacture a victory from nowhere.
All the best.

well done Aussie you are truly world class
by roadster on Nov 02, 2008 01:40 AM  | Hide replies

even with a mediocre team aussie overhauled the stiff target a feat no one else can match that too on foriegn soil. indian innings will be wrapped up 260 max and then aussie will go for the win a historic win and fitting reply to the walloping they got from previous match only a mammoth effort could set the record straight. Indians with such a mammoth total were totally suprised!! because they underestimated the aussies a very risky step on their part. congrats mates for your fine showing!!!

It's not entirely Kumble's fault, there were also dropped catches and probably some politics going on.
