his downfall started in 2001 itself. and then he made those series of ducks in the tour of west indies. he somehow managed it in 2002 with grit but his career highlight came when he was MOT in 2003 world cup. he should have retired then on a high. by now, he could have become a good batting coach. he is just biding his time in the team now.

averages are not worth everything dude...i am talking abt his test perfformance which declined after 2001...even in onedayers he was at his peak in 1998 and with grit managed to finish 2003 world cup on a high but that zing had already gone off his batting..how long can his fans defend and suppor him at all costs.,..even now it is not too late...he finished aus tour on a high..he can announce his retirement by end of the year with a home series so that he can be given nice farewell...
hahaha...whenever this guy comes to bowl even the eyes of a tailender light up..last match as soon as he came to bowl tanvir opened up and carted this moron all over the park...even i can hit him for a few sixes
