This IPL context definitely divided our players as well as spectators region wise. It is not godd for the nation. As a Indian, all are one irrespective of the state, religion
one can understand from the list of IPL MVPI & PVI index, the crickets performed best are the one who got the money offer less than what they deserved. Just snap the status of ICON & experienece and must PAY AS PER THE PERFORMANCE after fixing the basic offer based on the value of the player. FIRST & FORMOST TO SCRAP THE ICON STATUS. It is miserable to see the cricket who got the most money never played atleast upto the mark. TO BE REVALUED TO GIVE JUSTICE TO PERFORMANCE NOT IN OTHER WAY. only criteria must & should be 'PERFORMANCE'

100% true.... there was no need of this IPL... too much of cricket is now irritating..!!!!
The list of top players MVPI rings through with my impressions.
I was reading some other information elsewhere but it was only giving strike-rates and averages - averages are pretty meaningless: I'd much prefer if batsmen kept pushing themselves in the final few overs and might get run out (say) than didn't get out.

All this calculation is dumb. Who cares about value? Let's just enjoy the tournament.

I completely agree with you Deepak. In fact i consider this is a unwanted advice. Also the jockers involved in this calculation should understand that every thing can not be measured in rupees term.
