Dear Forum members. All those who would have done a similar thing that the Australian team guys have done, please smile. Because you value your life. And all those who would have done otherwise, please frown. Because you will never know when death strikes you.

why national flag not in half mast

the blasts in jaipur were horrendus.....but if we all as a nation are so saddened by this.....then as a symbolic gesture shouldn't we keep national flag at half mast for a day?(instead of doing half mast when a stupid politician dies)

which country are you in. Politicians have the most respect because they are the ones decidig the fate of our nation, common man just does a stupid job by electing these crooks time after time. why should the flag fly at half mast for people like us who elected these goons to betray this country.

Freign players' fear
by indira on May 15, 2008 02:46 PM  | Hide replies

Foreign players are justified in their fear.Everyone feels uncomfortable when they are in a foreign country and when things like blasts and such incidents happen, their fear becomes double. Their families also will be worried about their safety. so, if these players want to quit playing in IPL, they should be allowed to do so, as safety of lives is more important that the tournament and money.

I was in US when 911 happened. I felt safest the days after the incident. Warne and co. are seemingly low-class uneducated people, they can leave whenever they want. They won't be missed, thats for sure.

sensible act
by kumar lakshmi on May 15, 2008 02:45 PM  | Hide replies

do understand that all the cricketers except Indians treat cricket like a job with a lot of passion and dedication. They put their family before their jobs. They have their priorities in life and are not ready to sacrifice their family for anything else, where as here we play cricket for money and are not caring towards their families. name one cricketer who has returned home in India when their houses were attacked after their defeats protesting against such acts. our cricketers are brave before the reel life and a coward and money minded in real life . eg- cry baby superstar- sreesanth and begger - bhajji, who wants one more chance for forgiveness. We are born and brought up to be selfish, greedy misers.

You can do very little to stop this. Be proud to be an indian and do not feel poor. Terrorism is a proble - and is a known problem gloabally. Its happening in most developed countries aswell. And they are in constant fear too. For Shane Warne and company willing to go back to their country - Well i would say they should be encouraged to do so. If inspite of giving them such an apportunity its their call if they want to go.

Fear does not give them the right to be abusive or dismissive about "this part of the world". Subtle asssholes.
