my dear fist you demand to remove the security for all leaders and celebrities, & demand for common security as our civilian right. then you see how the leaders will organize for the security.

since the leadesrs and celebrities are not equally treated for the matter of security we ordinary people end up loosing ourself

Sad Discussion!
by Dinesh R Singh on May 15, 2008 01:21 PM  | Hide replies

Its very sad to note that, people are more worried about sissies like Warne, who always cries fowl. But people who have suffered terrorism are still ignored and shunned, except for a few concerned voices.

Or is it that we tend to think about foreigners more than our people?

Yes but looking at the scenario every 4 or 5 months we have such an incidence & then it becomes a part of statistics like rail accidents

Yes, that is because, we the people of India remain PASSIVE to such incidents. We choke, cry, grunt for a few days, when such incident take place. And then we also forget about it.

Isnt it our responsibility, to be proactive and compel the government to take stringent actions against those who are involved in terrorist activities? We shuld make it known to the government that it will not be able to play the Religion Card to gain votes.
But do we have the will to do so?

CLEAN OURSEHELVES AND BE AGGRESSIVE
by joy on May 15, 2008 01:20 PM  | Hide replies

Come on buddies. Lets clean ourshelves first then we can be aggresive.
What our IB is doing ?
Why they can not be proactive and finish terrorism from root ?
Why we are making friends and relationship based on cast & status ?
If we are able to reduce all our inner problems all foreigners will follow us rather than critisize.

Ask this question to yourself first?

How many times you have been proactive to get a terrorist to Gallows? You think that all the work should be done by governmnt, then this thing is not going to happen.

In democracy people have to take active part in the running of the country... but we leave it all on the Government and involve ourselves in our daily conundrum of procuring food, clothing and shelter.

Dinesh, everyone knows how much corrupted our Government is and it's employees (including Police & others). General public have to hit the real problem sooner than later which is the root cause of all problems.

You have bloody CPI (Chor party of India) there and who is there in kerala to watch cricket. Everyone is in either middleeast or rest part of india running after money. Only their wives will come to watch cricket. Kerala needs proper infrastructure first then cricket will come to kerala. They are still 100 years behind compared to rest of india.

Aus. concern
by Manali Thomas on May 15, 2008 01:17 PM

Although Australia was a land where scoundrels and unwanted elements of cililized society were sailed off, some years ago, they are now a mature nation where blasts and riots are unknown. Unlike US, UK and other contries, it is natural for them to be worried about their family back home, rather than minting money over hidden hombs. Even if they participate in the IPL, they cannot contribute 100%. Every movement will have to be made in a very sanitized manner.

by Bald Head on May 15, 2008 01:17 PM  | Hide replies

If they want to leave India, let them.

We will make Kaif, one of the finest players from India, as RR captain and Yusuf Pathan as vice captain.

RR will still make it to the final and play Mumbai Indians.

What a shame my friend,

We are still talking about cricket when 65 innocent people are dead & 200 are injured.

Let IPL goto hell man. What Warne & Berry are saying is correct. Let them go back. That will defame this govt atleast.
