Unfortunately Very true
by arnab mukherjee on May 15, 2008 01:47 PM  | Hide replies

If I had been in Afghanistan or Nigeria and such a thing would have happened, than I would have caught the next immediate flight and come back.I agree and accept their fear and caution. Its not about chickening, its about intelligently picking up a decision.Indeed they live in a much peaceful, pleasant, pollution free and corruption free world. And I am envious about it.I wish I get a chance to live there as well, rather than struggling each day in this country for bread and butter, get frustrated with the unrule traffic, see the filthy faces of corrupted people around and cry about my country.Although, we have that reflex in us to stand whenever the national anthem is on the air.We are not growing. We are becoming rich, uncivilized country with hardly any morals left.I know to this reply people will start abusing me and feel themselves The Patriot!Huh!!!!

Good Thinking! You will live for 100 years happily! Where does the so called safety come from? From Politician? From Police Man? Do you think it is alo not your responsibility? Are you thinking that there is no legal systems in place in India? Tell me that are you sincere to your country? What is your contribution to your country for the so called 'Secure Place' you mean? Are we just following the simple traffic rules? Are we just paying the tax properly? Are we helping any poor people you see around? Are we educating the poop people to come up in life? I 100% believe that no one is doing this. Just by paying some tax (this is also, you are not paying your own, Your company is taking that responsibility to pay your tax) you think that everywhere should be neat and safer. The real work starts from everyone's responsiblity. Be a role model and create a good people around. It is easy to say terrorism is taking all your lives but it is not easy to control this unless people take individual responsiblity. Turn as a good citizen today onwards, look after 50 years...You will see a good India! Jai Hind!!!

Right Said Arnab...I am out of India since last 3 years, although I owe everything to my country India but often it hurts when incidents like this happened at such a safer and tourist attraction place...don't know which part of the India is safe now...and even more painful to think which way our country is heading...

Thanks Warne & co
by Sab Harim on May 15, 2008 01:47 PM  | Hide replies

Thanks a lot, Warne and all, Thanks for the entertainment you have provided.Unfortunately, in India, we have this problem of terrorists. We have been trying to tell this to the world for a number of years.Countries continued to ignore our suffering. When the IC-814 was hijacked to Kandahar also, the Western World turned a blind eye.Only when it struck in their backyard, did they take notice and started the 'War on Terror'.
So, Warnie, please carry on.Go back to your safe coccoon- as your family members are 'less than impressed' with India. And keep away from all those countries where such attacks have taken place- like the US,UK,France,Germany,Japan, all of Asia etc.Doesn't leave you with much choice-does it?
But, come to think of it- wasn't the Sydney Hilton Bombed in 1978? And wasn't the Turkish Consulate in Victoria 'car-bombed' in 1978? Which means that you poor guys can't even go back to Australia..Now where do we go from Jaipur...tch tch..

When 9/11 happened in the US, they took immediate action. After that incident, there have not been any such repitions in the US. Why? Because they were aggressive in their counter act. We India know that who are behind these acts - our chameleonitic neighbors, both bangladesh and pakistan. Still, we are doing nothing. Agree that India is a peace loving nation. But we should stop being peaceful when we are torn in to pieces by the bombs. A hard dialogue with pakistan should happen and if we get proof of their indulgence, we need to attack the militant camps and destroy them, be it in which ever country.

Hi Venkatesh. What would you have done if you were Shane Warne? Would you have dared to stay close a place where this has happened? Would you not be bothered about yourself? What would you do if you spot a poisonous snake near you? It is not a question of they being chickens. It is more to do with individual safety. It is easy to post a comment. But when faced with a situation is something different.

Not only foreign players, I want to see such protests coming in from everybody, even from domestic players. And above all general public of India. Only then will these politicians learn a lesson of taking terrorism lightly.

enough is enough.
Muslims should take initiative to punish the criminals of their own cummunity as it is universal truth that 99.99% criminals belongs to their community.
If they are getting defame because of negligible % of such type of elements, Why they do not come forward to save their international image.
