Shame on u Mr. Modi
by Jay on May 16, 2008 07:32 AM

What is this guy thinking ????? he has 'asked' everybody to come to the stadium without bag, bottles, match sticks, lighters etc ??!!!!!! hahaha... is he mad ? does he think the Jaipur people will listen to him ?

This is bullsh*t. Instead he should make severe security arrangements to scan people while they are trying to enter the stadium to make sure nobody carries foreign objects to the game and not cordon off when an apparent bomber is sitting in disguise while the match is in progress and the security forces are cordoning off the exterior in vain.

This shows the false ego of the BCCI officials in not accepting their mistakes. Its a shame that a foreigner has to remark about our country's safety when our own people are ignorant about it.

BCCI should share 1/3rd of the profit to ICL for copying their idea.Shameless people, made it sound like ICL was rebel and all that, made fun of ICL for taking retired players and now look what they are doing.

IPL Matches
by fellowgoodie on May 15, 2008 10:36 PM

For some reason I am just not getting interested in even seeing the score cards of IPL matches. I cant understand people have so much time to see so many matches. With the kind of money involved, it would need a herculean effort from BCCI & IPL to recuperate those costs and thats why they are roping in bollywood stars so that people will come atleast to see them. Right now its a new format and it doing ok now because of the film stars involved. It is purely not cricket, per se. But time will decide the success of IPL.
And finally IPL is not for chicken-hearted people like SRK,who are scared they will lose their money.
