Let the IPL have T20, Australia should have T5 [ 5overs a side], EPL should have 1 over a side and South Africa should have 2 overs a side contests. It will be a big spectacle. Let TEst Cricket and 50 overs a side ODIs die. Bring in more of these smaller versions and we expect nude dancers as cheer leaders
Even If Just 5 Country starts, T20 form, Each spread across 2 months, 10 months in an year will go for this only, in remaining 2 months,Players will take rest and ICC will have to shutdown. Not very good sign. Mostly country will play with themselves in future, IF this continues.
well.. the IPL is so funny that even international players like Jayasuriya, Shaun Pollock have started calling themselves the Mumbai 'Indians' LOL !!!!! its all in the name of money folks. I am tell ya ... in 2-3 years time.. test cricket will be buried in the grave along with its offspring 50 over cricket. T20 will rule the roost with leagues all over the world.. first the IPL then the PPL (paki premier league), APL (aussie premier league), EPL, SAPL (SAfrican Premier league) etc etc... it will be the day when I personally will stop watching cricket.

why should you stop watching cricket. It is an entertainment right? Let all the countries start IPL. Even if Test stops what is the big deal. In which law book is it written that the world shuld watch Test cricket. U just Relax okay.. every thing is going to be fine
FINALLY WORLD HAS SOMETHING TO COPY FROM US .... IF NOT THE 20-20 IDEA then ATLEAST MANAGEMENT OF A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR TOURNAMENT.... the management of IPL has been pretty good ... no matter what anybody says about it being stagemanaged or watever ..... the fact that ppl are watching it like crazy is a great success story in itself ...... Badiya kaam karo to nazar aata hi hai .....and the fact that Return of Sachin, Slapping incident, Shoaib Jolt to delhi .... have all added to the all exciting spirit of the whole tournament
well done BCCI (wow i cant believe i said that .. lol )...... but sachh main well done BCCI ... kuchh to badiya kar rahey ho ... bringing up youngsters to international scene ....
bas ICL se ladai bhi band kardo ... all will b super cool then for indian cricket ....

management is very bad but Indians are mad for cricket and therefore IPL is success otherwise from TV covergae to internet marketing to ground conditions and match officials everything is much below par.

try to read the FIRST LINE that i wrote again.... i said the world has something to copy from us ... not the idea of League ( i know its copied from EPL ... everybody knows that ... BCCI itself has said that so many times ) .... its the Management of such a tournament in a crazy country like ours that is laudable on the part of BCCI ....inspite of all the OFF field incidents and etc that i wrote ...
These guys are exposed. They are simply a bunch of professional players who are willing to make money. They will follow money, whoever pays more, they will work/play for. Cricket Australia simply can not take panga with IPL schedule. Now we are giving a taste of their own medicine.

Mr. Venktesh our players rejected the offer of Mr. Kerry Packer to play in world series which was a version of IPL for one days. Although I agree more or less everbody work for money. But these guys boast of being proud to have green baggy(australian test cap).
