Sorry dude,,, Cricket is a team game and arguably its got the most number of factors affecting the game like pitch,weather etc... So, team selection is based on playing conditions,opposition and much more.... So teams have to workout combinations and have to leave some greats on the bench.
Eg - Misbah was benched for bangalore's initial matches.
