I am of the view that BCCI backed IPL is not only ruining cricket but also lost Millions of Millions of fans faith in Cricket. Though the lucrative package offered by IPL is better for the future I as a Cricket fan would like to see an end of IPL. Sixes and Fours, Beautiful cheerleaders won't help Cricket but for in the coming days u will find empty stands alongwith Mr.Lalit Modi and Sh. Sharad Pawar(Culprit) behind this act will be siting aside by each other. But the good thing Kapil Dev is doing for cricket ICL has been overshadowed by IPL. The only player who has given WORLD CUP-1975 has been forgotten so easily. Wah Cricket!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its World Cup 1983, not 1975. World Cups 1975 & 1979 were won by West Indies under the captainship of Clive Lloyd. On 25th June 2008, BCCI is celebrating 25 years of World Cup victory. It remains to be seen whether Kapil Dev is being invited for the celebration.

SO Mr.Doctor you found only Dada not performing. Just let me know what do you mean by weak team? All teams are playing against each other and getting points. 1. Dada scored 51 in 39 balls against RR- WEAK TEAM. 2. Everybody has played with BRC-DC. How many of them has bowling figures like 3-7-1 or 91 runs 2 wickets in one match?
Actually you are one of the foo!s around who has no other work but criticizing ganguly for anything and everything.
At the end please write postings understandable to others and let me know which collage has given you the Dr. degree?

Mr.Doctor, so you could find only Dada is not performing. Great going cricket analyst. First thing try to make your posting understanable to others. Now 1)let me know what do you mean by dada perform against weak team- 51 runs in 39 balls against Jaipur- the WEAK TEAM. 91 runs against Chaminda Vas-R P Singh WEAK BOWLERS. 2)In which IPL match you found dada having poor fielding- how many catches you have seen him dropping? 3)All teams except KKR-DDD has played against each other. How many batsmen you have seen bowling with figures like 3-7-1. How many players have the credit of having 91 runs and 2 wickets in a single match? It's a shame that with this kind of English you call yourself a Dr. Let me know from which college you have passed. You must be one of the JOKERs around who has no work but to criticize Ganguly for anything and everything. Try to be a sensible human being first?

DARU WALE, ACTER (filamwale) KAPADEWALE(ambani) BOOMBAY DYING (PRITI ....WADIYA) HO GE TO PAISA HE BOLEGA
dhakkan charge less...... hyderabad people can save money by not seeing matches.....
performance of GIBBS, AFRIDI and styrus is horrible and still they get to play all the matches.......
Local lads in Dec chargers also performed very badly compared to other teams... Venu gopal did well in just two games and that too when nothing could have saved the match....
Sanjay Bangar ko bahar karo..
Deccan chargers are Dhakkan chargers...
Good outcome of IPL are Manpreet Gony Shikar Dhawan Jadeja Yusuf Pathan Ashok Tinda S Badrinath Abhishek Nayar
I might have missed some names .... i am just putting my thougt.. other point of view might differ.. :)
Performance of BRC is similar to Bangalore's way of functioning:
1.Messed up government, messed up management of BRC 2.Messed up traffic, messed up batting 3.Ill planned city, ill planned bowling attack 4.Stray dog menace, unfit player menace 5.Infrastructure mess up, fielding goof-ups 6.Controversial name (Bangalore or Bengaluru), controversial name of BRC (Mallya's drink)
No wonder RBC team belongs to Bangalore! What a similarity!!

why do you blame Tamil when I am from Andhra. Pls come and see new hyderabad. If we have better weather like Banglore, no industry will come to banglore. Everyone will stand in que for hyderabad.

Dont just compare BRC with Bangalore... very few local lads in BRC., even then its just a game.... tell me which other city provides more job opportunity than bangalore with good security.... if you dont like then better leave bangalore at least traffic would improve :)
RE:RE:What a similarity!!
by Sweet on May 13, 2008 12:51 PM
Good security? - ha ha ha (forgot the rape and killing of a bpo girl? and the killing of children by stray dogs?)
Just more job opportunities is not everything in life dude.
RE:RE:RE:What a similarity!!
by addanki kumar on May 13, 2008 12:55 PM
Bangalore is not Rape capital.. These kinds of incidents happens every where, Pune, gurgaon, mumbai and other cities as well.... Crime rate in Bangalore is less compared to other cities...
RE:RE:What a similarity!!
by selva babu on May 13, 2008 01:00 PM
Absolutely right Mr Sweet. I agree with you, Banglore is now famous for weather only. Nothing else greater than other cities.
RE:What a similarity!!
by Sweet on May 13, 2008 12:48 PM
I have seen it when I came there twice for friend's marriage. Except the weather and girls I am sorry to say that everything is in disarray
RE:RE:What a similarity!!
by amit b on May 13, 2008 01:05 PM
I agree with Sweet...Bangalore has nothing to offer other than some software/bpo jobs, girls and beer...One more correction - The girls over there are not the permanent residents of bangalore...so in that sense it doesnt even have girls of its own...
RE:What a similarity!!
by addanki kumar on May 13, 2008 12:51 PM
But situation is lot better than it was... during consutruction and changes some has to suffer... i too remember when it used to take me 2 hrs to go back to home.. but it takes now only 25 mts.... it happens to all developing cities.... nothing is ready made....
%u266B At the end of the day people need to understand that the IPL has a corporate side to it, and a very definitive corporate side at that. It is not at all cricket in the traditional sense.- Swamiji Jagadhguru Vijay Mallya in a press after Bangalore Royal Challengers lost series of matches in IPL.

salon bakwash bandh karo!! b"walo, kuchh kaam nahi hai kya?? just enjoy the match!!
Let us learn to look beyond the numbers and enjoy the game. I can bet that all the 3 guys who wrote this are geeks who have never held a cricket bat in their hands in their entire life !
RE:beyond numbers
by Aditya on May 13, 2008 12:33 PM
ur right.... how can you weigh a player who scores quick fire 40s towards the end of a innings and a player who opens the innings and gets 50s.. by this system the opener stands a better chance of being a contributor to victory which is totally incorect...
