Whereas ICL really is all about Cricket. IPL just wants to bully ICL down the same way BCCI bullies everyone else down just becoz they got the money. What has BCCI ever done to improve Cricket on the GRASSROOT level in India? how many cricket academies with proper ground facilities, trainers, coaches? they are the richest board.. but they dont spend it on cricket. rather they happily bribe MPs by making a donation of 1.5 crore for a Gym. how many of our octagenarian MPs go to a gym? BCCI is a FARCE, IPL is a TAMASHA. Its entertaining, hence Its more or less like WWE. i think IPL should be renamed to IPCE or ICE Indian Premier Cricket Entertainment. I would like to see BCCI use this new money by creating Academies of sporting excellence in each of the Franchise cities.Where these foreign players and indian int'l palyers will train along with a group of youngsters in the same Gyms, training grounds. That is really what will help Indian Cricket. as for present times... enjoy the Tamasha guys. and The Great Khali rockzzz
common there is no match ipl is huge success compare to icl ask anybody.icl will be closing this year . if you have still doubt then see aaj tak where icl chairman doing expert comment on ipl matches.kapil also know icl end is near.
Feel sorry for these ICL players. Quite talented but somewhere overshadowed in the IPL hurricane. I often wonder how good it would have been if the players like Stuart Binny, Vignesh, R Satish, Ambati Rayudu had played in the ICL....not to forget the versatile foreign players of ICL.

Sanjay but ICL was the first to approach them n ICL as far as the game is concerned was much better then IPL coz IPL has only shine and glitterring of bollywood n cheer girls any how still ICL players shouldnt be disheartened coz v know there talent.....n really enjoyed there games

The last ICL tournament had some great matches. Also the Lahore Badshah's added to the competition by dominating most of the matches and thus creating a desire for other teams to beat them. I only wish they got the big stadiums as once promised earlier. That would have definitely worked for them.

Guys, Lets all be positive about ICL.
The next version of ICL this september is the most important series for ICL, coz for the first time it will come after IPL's launch. They wont back down very easily and I am very positive that coming ICL will be much better than present IPL with "official" tag and also playing in regular stadiums and also Exclusive Intl.Club teams from Australia, England, WI, NZ just like LahoreBadshahs in last edition.
Hey all you ardent fans of IPL, there wouldnt have been your IPL, had ICL was not started.
But I would like to see coming version of ICL much better coz thats like deciding over of the match (a match played between innovation=ICL, xerox-copy=IPL).
Did you see, so many smart Indian sponsors have opted out of IPL and are waiting to see ICL with "official tag".
Last word, ICL conducts cricket-show better than IPL and IPL conducts nude-show better than ICL. THIS IS A SERIOUS FACT.
