The match could have gone either way.While DD fielding was brilliant the CSK held their nerves and pulled off a close match. The CSK team combination was good but the batting and bowling has to improve further because there is still lot of pressure on Dhoni who is unable to play freely his natural game. On the other hand Sohaib Malick and Dinesh kartik have to perform better with bat as presently the batting seems to be dependent exclusively on Sehwag and Gambhir.
DD shall not reach semis. It is on losing streak from now onwards. They heavily depand on sehwag and gambhir. their middle order is very weak. bowling is also weak except for mcgrath. In all they just don't have any chance to win in any further matches.
sehwag faulted in getting mallik bowl the last over, normally the last over is bowled by the most experienced bowler in the side having the best economy rate,miserly bowler and thatwas mcgrath.sehwag's foolish move cost delhi the match.how dhoni came to be man of the match(MOM)is not understood, his batting 7 captaincy were both average, scored 33 of 33 balls & looked out of ideas when gambhir & dhawan were going strong.fleming 7 vidyut put on 62 runs for the 1st wicket and laid the foundation for chennai's run chase, scoring 44 &40 in 28 & 22 balls respectively. morkel slammed 30 in 15 balls & took 2 wickets, any of these three should have been awarded the MOM & not dhoni.

delhi's bowling is very weak except for mcgrath. they also don't have 5 bowlers. Sehwag and mallik make up for 5th. Both of them were carted for 6s yesterday.

goni is better than dhoni. Gony has good temperament, attitude, composure. He is more gutsy and performs under pressure.... He is the real gem of chennai.... Gony might not have won MOM but his contributions to chennai team are more than any other star player....

In terms of polishing shoes of higher officials ? Yeah, sure .... since in Tendulkar's case, the officials polish his shoes, LOL.
Delhi Daredevils Vs Chennai Super Kings tie yesterday was a superb one.
Both teams deserved to win.
Sehwag is normally a good captain but his decision to ask Shoaib Malik to bowl the last over misfired and DD lost the match.
Shoaib Malik has been a total flop in the IPL tourney so far with both bat and ball. The only saving grace about him is his good fielding - both in terms of taking catches and stopping runs.
Sehwag should seriously think of brining in Dilshan Tilakaratne into the playing XI for the next few matches. He is a reliable batsman, can bowl a few overs of off spin and definitely an exciting fielder and could contribute meaningfully to the team's cause.
Better luck to Sehwag and his men in the remaining matches.

Sehwag should have taken the responsibility for the last crucial over. Very poor captaincy on his part.Sometimes,I get a feeling that this Delhi Vs Chennai match was fixed.

You are right about Dilshan Tilakaratne. He is a fighter all the way. Any day he is a plus factor.
