also include whose wickets whether top class batsmans or set batsmans or if it is the lower order batsman to be included..
this analysis is amateurish even if a bowler take one wicket in a match whose wicket is most valuable he should be rated more highly than someone who takes 4 last order batsmans wicket..

keep it up

IPL - becoming a bore
by SK on May 08, 2008 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

IPL has become a waste of time.

Initially everyone thought 20-20 is a batsman's game. As far as the spectator is concerned, it is paisa vasool and time vasool, as they can see fireworks by big hitters.

But now it seems like bowlers are calling the shots. This is evident from the fact that most of the recent MoM awards are won by bowlers - Sreesanth, Tanveer, Nehra to name a few. The result: teams are dismissed for paltry totals and there is no thrill in watching the run chase. Why do IPL guys prepare tracks that favor bowlers?

IPL has lost its sheen.

lets make it better....

why not include some pie charts & histograms ? If some statistics formula were written..would have added glitter in this COMPLEX table. How about including Permutations and Combinations to make one pull his hair while understanding this?
IPL WOULD HAVE BETTER EMPLOYED A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT to understand and create more employment.

IPL icon fools exccept sehwag.yuvraj prove burden to their teams
by Vimal Sunny Varghese on May 08, 2008 09:27 AM

although cricket is a team game ,presence of 1 person may have great impact on team performane...it's proved last day when laxaman was out of team due to some "injury"....under captaincy of gilly deccan chargers looked very dangerous.same thing will happen if dravid and ganguly will be kept out of field...vijay mallya already started cleaning actions by throwing away waste persons and he said that he was not invoved in player selection during first phase auctions..means dravid is the main culprit and the next person to be thrown out is him...

Instead of writing such numerical crap, that too for a private league, let everybody spend 1 or 2 hours actually playing a game or spend that time in gym. That'll go a long way towards improving the physical fitness in our country.
