One final chance? Heck, why??
by ravi boppudi on May 10, 2008 02:00 PM

One final chance? This impulse control disorder dude knows pretty well that he has had enough in his kitty. or even if he doesn't know, big-heads of Indian Cricket must have drilled some ground realities into his head already and so is coming up with sentences like - "one final chance" and all. BCCI will have to face some severe risk if this nutcase kills somebody onfield in the future. Well, I'm not sure how BCCI is going to take such a risk on it's head with this pigheaded guy. He has made a huge laughing stock of himself. Sreesanth - well crying is a vent for your emotions. No doubt. But, by crying, Sreesanth has shown to the world that he is a sissy. Wonder what would a Chris Gayle or a Kevin Peitersen might have to say the next time he stares at them! What funny personalities we have in the Indian Team! Can't we have a couple of youngsters who can emulate Anil Kumble or Rahul Dravid or Sachin Tendulkar or VVS? Rohit Sharma is the only one who looks level headed and extremely talented.

One more chance..?

For what? to slap someone else or to create another controversy? you have had enough controversies in your cricketing career so far. Its time for you to get your due, Mr Harbhajan.

NANAVATI
by damodaran mohan on May 09, 2008 01:57 PM  | Hide replies

Very strange everyday Mr. Nanavati or the media come out with some new revealations ? Is it the way to conduct a probe of this nature ? What is it going on actually ? Trial by Media ? Mr. Nanavati should go about his job quietly out of media glare and give his objective report. It is for BCCI to act further. Bhajji has already got his punishment and i do not think any further harsher punishment is required. However under these circumstances i cannot think of a congenial Indian dressing room in matches with other international teams for at least for next 6 to 8 months with Bhajji in the team. So, best thing will be to not punish him further but ask Bhajji to play domestic tournaments for a year with his younger day lesser chums in Chandigar to sober him on his EGO and ANGER fronts.

I agree. It would be unfair to punish a person twice for the same offence; in legal terms what they say as "double jeopardy".

Hi All,
Im that he got ban from ipl for slapping Mr Sreenath but i dont agree with anyone that who should be ban for life or some other matches,
u cant penalised anybody 2 times, as you all Sreenath is also very aggresive player like Harbhajan but to clear everything we dont know what Sreenath had told him that made him very wild, u can also see Zidane hitting in worldcup finals u guy know why??? but im not saying that in future people should hit someone like that but Mr Bhaji had regretted the matter and said he will not repeat it agsin, so we all indian should with him according to me because he is also good player to be bann for life.

i hope every one agree with me

thx

I agree to your point that a person must be penalise for his misgivings but one should not be penalise twice for one offence which he committed because there are always hot exchange in clifhanger games and he has already been penalise on the ground of futage supplied to F.Engineer. They must have given a chance to put their point because shreesanth is not a cute player who did nothing. He is as agreessive and Harbajan singh is

A School Kid?
by Junglee on May 08, 2008 01:54 PM  | Hide replies

Is Harbhajan Singh a school kid for asking pardon? The offence was unprovoked, rude, criminal and worst in any form of sports arena. It is a top level offence in sports which cannot attract any pardon. Also, since it is not the first time that he was seen behaving offensively, no pardon should be granted to him. On the other hand, he should be handed the severest punishment possible as per the laws of BCCI. Such people are incorrigible and if pardoned, there would be no gurantee that he will not commit the same or higher crime again.

Why are you bringing community into this debate? I would have said the same thing even if it were to be Sreesanth or anybody else for that matter. People like you tend to muddify a clear water. Sad story of ill-directed thoughts!

There are no muslims , sikhs ,christians etc in BCCI . It is a typical casteist and racist institution.

Correct. What else can you expect from Sonia supporters like Sharad Pawar?

These communal UPA stooges should be kicked out of India with one kick on the bum per hour till they arrive in Rome.
