Hyderabad Heroes Versus Deccan Zeros
by Shankar Kumar on May 27, 2008 10:05 AM

ICL team Hyderabad won the championship.Steve Rixon was as inspiring as Shane Warne. And leadership of their Capt was outstanding.People of Hyderabad have been cheated because of Policy of BCCI and also a former Off spinner from Hyderabad.
It has reported in the past that this off spinner as selection committe member had taken cuts out of player's earnings for selection.
He selected Noel David.
It is a strong whisper in the corridors of BCCI that a former off spinner was the most corrupt BCCI official ever

ICC should recognise ICL and give a slap to BCCI mafia.
My only regret is that Shane Warne was considering joining ICL but due to some botched up negotiations went to Rajasthan Royals at a lower money.

ICL -Please ensure you respect great cricketeers like Shane Warne and give them the respect and due

"It is a rare enough feat to take seven wickets in a 50-over match. That Absolem grabbed 7 for 15 in his quota of just four overs puts the feat into perspective"..........I WONDER WHETHER THE WRITER HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE OF CRICKET, HOW COME A 50 OVER MATCH CAN HAVE A QUOTA OF 4 HOURS, IS HE CONFUSED BETWEEN 20-20 AND 50 OVERS MATCH. REDIFF, PLEASE EDIT THE ARTICLES BEFORE RELEASE RATHER THAN ASKING THE READERS TO DO THIS JOB.

You need to understand this well dear. What he is saying that even in 50 over game this is difficult so how difficult it becomes in a 20 over game when a bowler has just 4 overs to bowl

You are an Idio-T ! read properly , The writer is saying it is difficult to take 7 wickets in ODI ( 10 over per bowler) while Absalome has done it in just 4 overs ..
And read before posting your comments .. its 4 OVERS not 4 HOURS

actually, it is you who looks confused. the writer says it is difficult to pick up 7 wickets in a 50-over match. he has not even mentioned four overs in the 50-over match.

If want to sports anywhere in world to be growing... there is no space for rebel... we must stay in system and fight and correct the system. ICL supremo Subhash Goyal had spoiled many talent in India. Those who played in ICL should not allow representing India forever. If anyone have doubt, please go to history will get answer!

Dear Friend, it is not Subhash Goel. It is Subhash Chandra. You are talking as if BCCI is the only body that should promote cricket in India. You should know one thing my dear friend. BCCI is not a government Sports Body. It is a private body that has clearly given an undertaking in the court that they are atonomous and in no way they represent India. They should be punished for using the name India. If they are not a government body, then how should they use the name of a country. Only govermental sports bodies can use the name. If you want to support BCCI , then you support. But do not criticise any other body that is developing cricket by using its own money. ICL was far better tahn the IPL. They allowed people to watch the matches freely. They did not auction the teams & players and swindle money like the BCCI has done. Subhash Chandra is using his own money to promote cricket. Not like the BCCI which is always money minded and which has people who are always power mongers.

What you mean be in the System & fight & correct the system if they wil do this then they will just fight through out their whole life & when will they Play then, as you know how the cases are fought in india.

Remember one thing its coz of ICL atleast we came to know that there are Players like Alfred Absolem, other wise we would have never known them.

Dont compare the glamour see the talent, why cant the IPL accept the young Indian Players from ICL, jus coz they Played for ICL.

Well most of them make their earnings from Cricket & even if we get a better Pay Scale Job we want wait for another Opportunity but grab the one that we have.

So think again,,,,,,,,,,

About Hyd Cricket Association
by VSS on May 07, 2008 02:16 AM  | Hide replies

Many of those out of Hyderabad doesnot know why Deccan chargers doesn't have good local players.
Correction.. Correction.
Hyd has very good young players like ambati rayudu, alfred absolem, IS reddy. But bcoz of the goonda called Arjun Yadav and his shrewd father shiv lal yadav, all those players have no option but to leave the association. Arjun yadav who is not an all rounder, never scored a century in ranji or elite group of domestic tournaments. He was made captain of hyderabd in absence of laxman and was always nominated under the quota for south zone for national selection ignoring the real talents. Unfortunately for all other players he happens to be the son of shiv lal yadav who with all his relatives occupied the chairman/selector post for hca. more over, he supported pawar by garnering the local congress govt support when pawar contested the board elections and as a favour bcci will not interfere in hca politics. God only save Hyderabad from this goondas called arjun yadav, shiv lal yadav and his maternal, paternal uncles

Make IPL official !!!
by Dhaval Tamhane on May 06, 2008 09:49 PM  | Hide replies

If you can make county cricket of England, IPL & other domestic competitions official, then why not ICL. Is it just because BCCI does not like someone going against it. ICC should think of ICL crickers' future & make it official.
