Sourav is no more a role model for Bengalis all over the world. There is flop show from dada in IPL. His attitude and balance of the mind is questionable in most of the time. He must learn how to captain T20 match, for this he must not have any ego problem with any of his team mates and treat each player on his merit irrespective of local player or outside player.
Yes some big players have failed to score and run scored/wicket taken by them do not justify the money they got.But one should not forget that these big stars got this huge money on the basis of their current form and their record in ODI and in Tests.It is equally true that you exclude all big names from this tournament and only keep likes of MS Ghoni,Marsh,Shikhar Dawan,Yousuf Fathan and like them who are performing good but very few will go to see them in a stadium in this massive heat.So if Star palyers have failed to perform still lot of money will be recovered by purchasers in terms of gate money and adds only on the basis of these stars.

it become utterly nonsense when I went couple of paragraphs down in this article, its not always individual perofrmance in a team, but it looks like a brain child of Rediff so what can you say.
Sachin has the tendency to skip the matches telecast on channels other than on ESPN-STARSPORTS. Sachin skips the matches due to so-called injuries especially when the same are shown on SET MAX. That is the reason for him not playing IPL so far. Sachin plays for the sponsors lobby. Even during the World Cup 2007 in West Indies, it was the same story as telecast right holders were Set Max. So he played poor cricket to avoid India's progress in the next round. He skipped Sri Lanka series (SL rights are with SET MAX?). He is against SET MAX channels or against all the rival channels of ESPN-STAR with whom he has an understanding.
