When ur batsman r doing good your team is poor in fielding and your bowlers give too much runs, All need to bowl like Glen McGrath, to be economical. When your bowlers restrict the other team , your batsman get too confident and they do bad. I don't understand the mentality of your team , either they r too confident or under confident. its never just right. All your batsman should not make any preplanned targets but just play each ball as it comes intelligently, not getting catch out stupidly to Shoib akhtar etc. Also in last few matches your tam had been extremely bad at fielding, leaving crucial catches of Watson, Smith. Go home, think hard and change the strategy. You owe this to fans of Delhi. Its heartbreaking to see you losing consecutive 4 maches
Oh well, again, talkin abt Dravid - he doesn't suit well to tis format of this game. He's the best technical batsman in the world as of now. Technique hardly plays a role in this format of the game. hez an old schools boy. But dont forget his contribution to the Indian cricket. Once Gayle asked Dravid how can be so determined and be so dependant; then he said "Gayle, hitting a boundary is not as simple to me as itz to u. I need to try hard even for a single. So, I have to stick around". You can't compare Dravid with Sehwag and Sehwag with Lara. They are all masters in their areas.

Nope, Tendulkar is the best technical batsman of this era. Dravid's technique is in his defense. Tendulkar is the ultimate technician who uses it in shot making as well as defense.

I may not agree with you. Oh yeah! Tendulkar is a legendary crickter; however, not every shot that he plays is from the book. He didn't start his career with technical batting. On the other hand one can't deny the fact that every shot/defence from Dravid(except in T20) is from the book.

I don't mean that tendulkar is not proficient in orthodox shots. He has a very astute cricket mind. However, he plays a wide range of unorthodox strokes as well. Of course, one can easily argue that the technique behind all of his shots should be added to the book :-)

i definitely beg to disagree, see dravid has good technique but at the same time u got to understand that Tendulkar has a very good technique range of attacking shots. and since all what we remember are the attacking shots, the 4s n 6s, we tend to forget his classic defensive techniques like ones he showed in WI,..n only a batsman with a very good defensive technique can play orthodox shots n can score at brisk runrate..remember WC 2003, Pakistan match , there was hardly a single slog shot. all looked so textbook n stuf , yet he scored 98 off 75 , n that only a batsman with very good defensive tech himself can do it ..
Sehwag may not be very good at speaking. He is a typical Haryana (shy) lad. But his batting is explosive. Sehwag is just Sehwag. There is no replacement for him in Indian team. He doesn't care abt any politics and just plays his game. If he clicks, it's entertaining. Dhoni on the other hand is a very matured and well planned person. Indian cricket realy needs players like Dhoni and Sehwag. But remember, Dhoni is never humble as well. Itz just the way they r.

I wouldn't count scoring in the ipl as great going .Yes viru has been great in the test game but he has not done well in the one day game even though his slam bang style is more suited to the odi game. If we start comparing players one the basis of some stupid moolah making ipl tournament then we are acting childish.Yes true dravid ,sourav, vvs and sachin are not suited to the one day game but then they were made icon players by the bcci and they are playing for the money and for a chance to prove a pt or too,which of course they have failed miserably in doing. But in a months time the ipl hooplah will be over and india wiil go play test cricket in srilanka where the same players who look out of place in the t-20 tournament will then start scoring when it really matters :For the COUNTRY! AND NOT FOR NOT SOME STUPID TEAM OWNED BY SOME BUSINESSMAN WHO HAS LOTS OF MONEY TO SPARE SO HE GOES AND BUYS A CRICKET TEAM.

Like the way he is now doing in Test/ODIs. what is his total score in last one year? Using Brylicrym cannot bring score in Test / ODIs. 20-20 is not cricket atall.

lagta hai tu CB series bhool gaya, usmein dhoni ne 380 run banaye the with an average of 70..teri yadasht kamzor hai aur tu sahi mein crazy hai..jake fir se dhoni ka ek saal ka ODI record dekh usne 1300 run banaye hain.
Sehwag needs a good lesson as how to speak.He said that when he is going no one can stop him just repeating the lines of some commentratores.Then he said "my bolwlers Mcgrath and Asif bowled well for me.My boys,my bowlers etc.etc.He needs to say our bowlers our team our batsmen like that.And while talking about his batting he must sound humble and say just soft lines like it was just my day that I could contribute in victory of our team. I think that will be better for him.He shuld remember in cricket when you stop scoring no one really knows and specialy batsman like sehwag who was out of team for most matches in Ausralia.
