Hey !!! lots of cheers for the anti-Ganguly fans..... He got a good treatment...Well DOne Engineer..... But the fact is that Ganguly is going to give the reply very soon....So dont be so over-excited from now onwards...Ganguly is an iron man....HE is not going to sit idly and tolerate all these things...Do u all forget what happened during Greg Chappell's regime?? How GAnguly was simply booted out of the team... Chappell then accused Ganguly and questioned his sportsman spirit...Ganguly was sacked as the captain and not only that he didnt even get a chance to be on the national side for so long...This is utter conspiracy against him.. Its really very pathetic to watch that the man who was so agile,so energetic, the man who took india to the final of the world cup, the man who scored more than 10000 runs in 1dayers and 5000 in tests got such a treatment...Shame On BCCI..ust imagine the days though which he had to pass..Such a critical time in his life..We were all worried that time..We all felt that GAnguly is surely going to fell to the huge oressure mounted on his shoulder...But this man Ganguly gave all the answers by his princely comeback in the team..And this shows his mental strength where we all will have to bow down...I salute this man for single-handledly fighting the battle and eventually winning it...And now that he became the captain of the team KKR i wish all the best for the rest of the games ahead..COme on dada ,its again time for you to prove a point..

Are you serious? I like Ganguly as much as the next guy but he was being a total jerk and I think he actually got off lightly. Gul was right, Ganguly is lost in the Twenty 20 format.

Indians are most racial & divided society...
too much regionalism!!!!
Hence pl do not get worked up!!!!
Ganguly is not a typical bong!!!He is a truely Player who plays first for India then for bengal!!
Just like Tagore did not write National anthem for bengal but for India,Sourav is truely Indian first , A bengali later!!!
Bengal had shown the spritual way to India by Greats like Swami Vivekananda, Swami Ramkrishna has adopted a retrograde poltical system like left who have made bengal a atheist society ..
No surprise that Bengal has become a backward state from the a prominent position it held when there was no marxist and people followed their religion. It has entered dark ages since it followed atheist system of leftist ideology which has rendered it hollow & rudderless .
Cricket has ceased to be a gentleman's game and the players are not that honest now. They claim catch by lifting the ball from ground. Batsman should have the right to get the accurate version from the third umpire in case of doubt. India could have saved the Sydney Test, had the decision regarding Ganguly's dismissal referred to TV umpsire.
Ganguly was not at fault in expressing doubt over catch by Smith, which was confirmed by"Not out' verdit by the third umpire.

yes. rules r made for ckt and ckt is not made for rules. change the rules which dont serve the ckting ethics
may b in ckt rule books, a batsman cant ask for 3rd ump. but it is perfectly logical to ask for 3rd ump intervention if one has a doubt abt a catch. what wrong is it anyway? rules r for the players n ckt and not vice versa.
How are the match referees appointed ? Is it just distribution of largess by the poweful ? The way at least one of the match referees has been conducting himself is certainly devauing the position. Besides, it is shocking the match referee cannot evenly call correctly the toss of the coin !The Viewers are left totally cofused as to which side the coin chose to rest finally!
Granted, that Ganguly came late with his team for the RR innings.
Granted, that Ganguly came out late to bat, during KKR innings.
Granted, that Ganguly did not walk when given out caught by Smith and told something to the field umpire, contents of which are not known to us public.
Despite all this, RR team did well on the field to post a good total of 190 odd runs and then restrict KKR to 150 odd runs and win by 40 plus runs.
Having won the match despite Ganguly's behaviour, wouldn't Shane Warne's reputation and interest in following principles of fair play been enhanced and appreciated, if he had chosen to keep quiet about these things instead of blurting it out all in press meet?
Couldn't he have spoken to Ganguly (which he actually did so far as delay in Ganguly coming out to bat was concerned) in a matter-of-fact manner and left it then and there in the field itself?
The fact is, nobody in any walk of life today - be it politics, sports, films, administration, private business, employment - has even minimum politeness, gentlemanly qualities, care and concern for others, happiness of others........
RE:It was not Ganguly's fault at all - Wane wanted to cheat but was disallowed

You are right Vijayan. Ganguly just asked Umpire to have a look at the catch again, i doubt.. But what Shame Warne done is against the rule of Cricket. he has questioned the 3rd Umpire's integrity
