this is a great achievment that every body agree. this is also a test match that also we know but playing tooooooooo sloooooooooow is not worth for such a class batsman. see Mckencee and amla(south africans) they are not as equal to mr. rahul and they were also not hitting the ball like sehwag or even ganguli but they were disturbing the scoreboard frequently. but our mr.nice staaaaaaaay there and ask the scoreboard also standsstill. read deyn(south african bowler) statement "give single to sehwag and bowl five dot balls to mr.wall". strike rate around fifty should be maintained. when it is seen only sehwag playing for the team and the spectators. and all the other players are playing for the ownrecords, by the way the team winning and draw are coming.
I am glad that our players are improving in the rankings. Here is something that will make your day special. Check it out and forward to all your friends --

With due respect to Sachin I sincerly advise better to retire and give chance to youngsters. Most of the readers may not like my appeal as they treat Sachin as God.But Imagine that you know you have problem with groin/shoulder is it not Gentlemans way ( In the so called Gentlemans game) to gracefully sit and give chance to others. Imagine if we donot give chance to Ishant Sharma and allow old horses to play could we know about his capabilities. Sachin has done a great service to Indian Cricket I sincerely advise him to give chance to others specially to youngsters to play and this would be his greatest service to Cricket. And getting out at zero his rank has come down. Please sachin think sincerely

great suggestion. this ought to be applicable to ownrecord makers such as mr. nice and mr. dada.
The demi gods of Indian cricket are all out of TOP 20 in the world ! only 3 are in top 20 that too none in TOP 10 . It is only Indian commendators who are praising them on their heads so that they can sell some TV time and news papers

Why u r so sarcastic abt Indian players? India has already three players who scored above 10,000 runs. India has a player who hit fastest triplle hundred and he is one among three who scored 300 plus twice! India has a player who hit highest number of centuries in Tests and ODIs. Which other team can boast of such records? Ratings vary depending upon matches played and strength of opponents. If u get Bangladesh or Zimbabwe you can easily improve ur position like how South Africans did!

Well said Ramdas!
I think the folks on this forum need to realize that neither do they have a say in the selection of the players, nor do they have a voice in how media treats our players. The players themselves play with pride for India and try their best. Sometimes their efforts meet the desired result and sometime not. That is why it is a team sport and not a game like golf where your own skills come into play (you may still win or lose but entirely of your own form).
Sehwag is a gift given by God to India a courageous batsman and he has built the reputation of taking the attack into the enemies camp. His innings of 319 at Chepauk ground Chennai was like a one man army.
People talk about pich but others also played in the same pitch at Multan and Chennai. The knock had great entertainment value which is the ultimate purpose of any game be it sport or movie or magic show or dance or music.
I salute Sehwag for his attitude to provide entertainment to the paying public whereas people like Dravid, Laxman and Ganguly are lost in their own world and there is not a single innings worth mentioning of entertainment.
