No matter what Viru has done, this match looked to end in draw from Day 1. The South Africans were never bothered by our bowling. Add to that a dead pitch.

On the contrary, south african bowlers bothered our 9 wickets in ONE DAY. add to that in the same dead pitch.
The Chennai curator should be sacked for giving such a dead batting wicket. Such wickets are only good for creating individual batting records like double hundreds & triple hundreds. We need more pitches like Perth if Test cricket is to survive.

Oh i see. Like Perth. How about suddenly Perth, not Melbourne?

Perth or Melbourne. We need fast pitches which give results and not individual batting records.

do u know about wickets in INDIA during summer having a green pitch is like growing plants in deserts so pls sir its not the curator but the weather that holds the key for green wickets comments can be writen easily but u cant write on climate and conditions
RE:RE:Dead pitches are only good for individual batting records

Only solution is India should plan overseas tours during summer.
Todays match is worst without any results and thrill.Sehwag,Dravid played long innings to improve their image and new records. It's wastage of time and money. They both used this match for their own performance. Many times test gets draw without any result, such tasteless matches should be banned. We've concentrate more on ODIs and T-20 to get real pleasure of cricket. Now Sehwag,Dravid r free to get out on 0-30 for next 10 matches.

Flat track bullies like Dada & Dhoni must be kicking themselves for missing the opportunity to make individual records.
TWO WINS HAVE GONE IN HIS HEAD . HAD HE PLAYED A GOOD KNOCK AT CHHENNAI INDIA WOULD HAVE WON VEERU DESERVE A BHARAT RATNA HE HAS SLAPPED DHOBI - DHONI IN A BIG WAY SHAME FOR DHOBI FOR KEEPING VEERU OUT ODI IN AUSTRAILIA VEERU PLAYED AN INNINGS THAT NO INDIAN HAS EVER PLAYED OR WILL PLAY VEERU DESERVE TO BE ODI CAPTAIN THAN DHOBI ANIL KUMAR TANZANIA

Dhoni performs through the team and ensures victory for the country. Viru performs for himself and India cannot win when be plays well. For the country, any day Dhoni is bettter than Viru.

Even if Dhoni had played a blinder and made abt 100 in 60 balls, then too the result wd have been the same.Dont u c there was nthng in the wicket. So dont blame Dhoni unnecessarily.

With this triple century, now Sehwag has fixed his place for 4 years even if he does not perform from now on. It has been a problem with Sehwag that he is very inconsistent and he went out of the team because of his poor form and nothing else. He is not going to score in the next 10 - 15 test matches. This is Indian cricket. I have nothing against Sehwag, but this is the truth.

DHONI (DHOBI) IS WASHED OUT. LOOK AT THE WAY HE GOT OUT OF DALE STEYN RISING BALL. DHOBI HAD NO ANSWER TO THAT BALL, HE WAS BEATEN ALL ENDS UP.(PLEASE SEE THE REPLAY AGAIN AND AGAIN ITS JUST FUN )
Every morning i look at almost every major indian news paper, more than Indian PM MM Singh, i see the headlines covered by Rahul Gandhi news, he felt shy, he slept in a village, he is on tour...his bday ....... why is the media trying to enforce some body on Indians by continuously showing his news and images.... I think there is a lot better things to be covered on politics and there are better qualified people who deserve place in the media lines
RE:RE:Why Media is Forcing Rahul Gandhi on Indians
by parth on Mar 30, 2008 07:09 PM
Media is hired by Bollywood, politicians & cricket to promot themselves.Todays media is shamless. Most over-rated celebrities r SRK,Big B,Khali,Rakhi Sawant,Sanjubaba,Rahul Gandhi.
RE:dravid
by Cool Guy on Mar 30, 2008 06:49 PM
If Dravid was slow what were the other greats like Dada, Sachin, Dhoni, VVS doing?? Why were they not trying to play aggressively. And above all, what were the bowlers doing. They looked like they have just learnt how to bowl. It is no point blaming one person.
