definitely an outstanding innings played so far. lot of cricket specialist always see the potential in Viru and even compared his syle to Sachin's, but he got to be consistent in his performance to be remembered as a great contributor to indian cricket.

jay veeru. Dhoni does not have such a record. why criticize the ones playing.
Sahewag always play for india and never played for selfish like sachin, ganguly. Sachin does not have guts to fight. He just want to earn money somehow he manages to be in the team. I see sehwag always playing for team that's why he be a true indian cricketer. Opponents feel unconfortable if he is on creeze. Most Daring person after Shrikant and the name is Sehwag, dhoni, Dravid, YovrajSingh.

Hitting six or four when a batsman is near to 100/200/300 is called "playing for country " or putting a stamp like "he is not a selfish player".. Grow Yogi..Grow. Everyone knows "Sachin is the best batsmen". How can you put this type of stupid sentences.

By the way did u watch the australian series...I guess Sachin turned around n played pretty well..If not ask Espn/starsports to replay the matches...

Don't worry Sourav was also scored 239 (his first Double) and after couple of months he couldn't find a spot in ODI, courtsey Dhoni. So, it doesn't matter who performs. The fact is that Shewag is inching towards 30 and will be termed as 'senior' soon.

Can Sehwag score so consistently in onday matches? He had a horrible run last year. He was dropped out of the team, look at the stats and his avg in oneday.
No doubt this inning was great and he is good batsman, but why bring tendulkar in this?
