Sehwag

Super entertainer plays for country not individual....after crossing 300runs he still played aggresively.... other Indian player would have played slowly till they break Lara's record of 400runs.

Shewag master of Belter Tracks
by Vijayan on Mar 29, 2008 09:32 AM  | Hide replies

Not taking away anything from Shewag's efforts, we also have to remember Shewag got a belter track in Chepauk as well as in Multan, and both Shewag and Dravid were lucky to get a go in these kinds of Tracks. I'm sure if the other 3 greats Sachin, Ganguly or Laxman got to open or bat at no. 3 in such tracks they would also run riots at least would have done 3 to 4 times better than Dravid!

"Sehwag's outstanding innings is now the
highest by any batsman on Indian soil, eclipsing VVS Laxman's 281 against Australia at Kolkata in 2000-01."

Sehwag has eclipsed his own record of 309 v/s Pak, not VVS''s 281.

Get the basics right and not chindi records like Pharma Expert said.

i guess you are now aware of the fact that there was a partition in 1947 and Pakistan was born on Aug 14th. So Multan is Pakistani Soil ..

Sehwag's earlier score of 309 was in Pakistan and not on Indian soil so for once Rediff is correct.

Statistical Records !!
by Pharma Expert on Mar 29, 2008 07:09 AM

These are some of the most third rate records. How about records like, thw highest partmeship between openrs on a Friday. Runs scored by Sehwag wearing the red head cover? Be sensible and only give relevant world and India records, not like Jaffer's higest score after six failures? what kind of record is this and whi is this dumbo collecting this stats and calling it a record? Change your cric editor. !!
