Instead of giving press meets, Sehwag must show his ability on the ground and getting out of his run draught

It rains sweat in Chennai
by Naalayak Chhokra on Mar 25, 2008 07:11 AM  | Hide replies

Chennai has got no proper gutters. All of rain water stays on road. The people are black as well, so they absorb heat. That is why there is so much humidity and heat in Chennai.

We will have a fried and steamed cricket .. ;)

People in South Africa are also black. Do you mean that they can tolerate the heat. Don't blame the people for what they are not responsible. Its weather which is beyond anybody's control.

CHAPLOOS SEHWAG
by Iyum Chappal on Mar 24, 2008 10:34 PM  | Hide replies

He is a chaploos. he wants to keep the new team management (coach included) in good humor. After having done nothing to note in the past he is usually the first one off the blocks in saying bold things. Remember he once said that he was ready to take over from Tendulkar

don't be fu*kin stupid. If india won any test in Australia, it was becasue of him. He brought positivity in the opening stand and saved the last test by stayin at the crease for the whole day. Taking over, i don't remember, yes he did say he is ready to take over captain's role, which as fair considering there was a time when ppl wanted to see Sehwag batting rahter than Tendulkar....it is ups and downs freinds let not be a fickle bunch supporters and back our boys.

Dont talk nonsense. His last 4 test innings in Australia were 29,43,63 and 151 (out of 269/7). The last innings helped India saved the game on the last day of the 4th tests. He has scored against all types of bowling abroad unlike some others who only score on dead batting wickets in the sub-continent.

in the history of test cricket india has won a test series in pakistan - dont forget so quickly
and in the recent past the second innings century in the last test is what helped us drew the test.

Its true he is having a bad time but dont question his credentials.

Ha, ha, ha ... him taking over from Tendulkar would be like Debasish Mohanty taking over from Glenn McGrath, lol.
