Had the umpires made good, correct decisions based on justice, India would have won The Test Series in Australia. In England, when Kevin Pietersen was declared out and the Giant screen replays showed that it was "Not Out", the umpires called him back. The same principle, ethics and standards however do not apply to India. When Sourav was caught "Unfairly" by Mr. Ricky Ponting, the umpires never reacted like that. I think Gavaskar is "Absolutely Right" England & Australia & ICC in particular are aware & wary of India's growing stature in International cricket.

agreed that ausis n eng r very much worried abt dominance of ind in ckt world. but the statement that "it is a misplaced belief that they are the only ones with honesty, integrity and have the welfare of the game at heart, while the 'subcontinentals' do not." is biased. our ind ckt prez and bcci members esp politicians r the worst money minting ckt administrators including gav. they hv nothing to devote except to earn money from the richest board. but this goras r adamant to disallow rise of any ind/asians in the icc and wants to tarnish image of indians and ignoring bull shit behaviours of ausis.
