BCCI squeezes its small brained guys to find out a way to ban sledging and pleads to ICC, the supremacy in Cricket Arena. Instead, BCCI could use its small brained guys in admin to JUST remove some foulmouthed guys like Harbajan Singh, Dhoni, tendullkar, kumbale, yuvraj (man who talks and walks but never bats, recently)...

This step would certainly keep a FINAL STOP to sledging and would pave way to a decent cricket in India and Outskirts. Some guys were funny in the forum, who pretend that they are the godfathers to save the asians and non-whites...

This sh.ty guys curse Bucknor (who is apparently non-white) but praise taufel (apparently white from the world's most renowned crowned).

Out of the blue, these cracky witss burst in agony against the aussies failing to note their real talent and strategies on field and consistency in performance, which every other teams should bend on their knee and learn to utmost possible way.

Take out Kumble ,Sachin from the above list first...
BCCI is surely a body of oppurtunist politicians full of dishonest fellows...always after money & some position in ICC..it is far more regional & racial with their own Indians than Australians.. whom we call as raacist!!

'my generation is not fit for Twenty20, so give opportunity to the youngsters."
agreed to drop seniors in t20 format but how can sachin call the shots on behalf of the others. how can he say rahul saurav r not fit for t20. at the most he can tell his views on his own fitness.
sachin is not capt not selector nor physio. these comments r not warranted from sachin.

Pawar & BCCI are useless
by Supratik on Mar 22, 2008 03:51 PM  | Hide replies

It's cricket's bad luck that the BCCI (which represents the worst of India) dominates the sport and even worse, this fat joker Pawar dominates the BCCI! If the BCCI was even half decent at managing cricket it would have been able to decide on Dhoni as captain completely independently. As it turned out, the independent decision the BCCI made was to offer captaincy to the same Tendulkar who had miserably failed in not one, but TWO stints as captain. The decision was so bad that the player himself had to tell the Board, his employer, the right decision. Why even have a Board! These are the creeps running cricket now with their truckloads of easy money, I think cricket's doomed...

You are living in India...
Politics (an enemy of honesty & fairplay) is in abundancen in most of our walks of in our lives..
Hence do not only blame Pawar..
India is like that . full of favourtism,regionalism,Parochialism,racism..with little honesty in being truthful about the merit...Merit is always last... politics is always first!!!

That's very true. Politics is inevitable everywhere in our society mainly because of the vicious competition for the lack of resources we have for every task here.

But what I can't stand is this: cricket is one area where we dominate the world easily where we have no shortage of intellectual and financial resources and we have everything going for us in cricket. Still we have a third-rate organisation with a third-rate leader dominating the sport here and making us look incompetent to the rest of the world. I have no time for the BCCI because it functions in an autocratic and lazy way, just like govt depts in India.

I say cricket is doomed under BCCI because when a Board is so incompetent that it can't even do a simple task like selecting a coach properly how can we expect them to properly manage world cricket with its many complex issues? Why can't it be more professional and well run like many Indian organisations are??? It's because we just settle for it instead of demanding more...

I see a lot of people taking potshots at me here calling me everything from "unpatriotic" to "useless". What are you all meaning to say? That the BCCI is a good organisation? That Pawar a dirty, corrupt politician who doesn't even know the "C" of cricket properly is the right person to lead cricket?

Wake up and smell the roses ladies and gentlemen. The BCCI (not India) is the worst thing to have happened to cricket. It's politics-heavy, disorganised, corrupt and all it cares about is money, not the good of the game. Cricket is doomed with the BCCI and Pawar the dumb and completely USELESS and incompetent joker dominating it.

It's high time we Indians dissolved the BCCI and made it more professional and forward-thinking in every aspect.

If this statement of Pawar is true, then this shows another great aspect of characer of Sachin. On the other hand Dhoni is showing some immaturedness by making unnecessary statements.

A MASTERSTROKE
by Babul Roy on Mar 22, 2008 01:05 PM

I applaud Mr Pawar which will benefit India cricket immensely - both on the field and off it. The old men of India cricket will perform in the upcoming test series and loudmouths will be shut off. If the guys do not perform and show athletism on the field, they are out of ODI. Dhoni is already sold out to Sachin ! Remember, Pawar is a politician, come from a filthy rich family of South Maharashtra and has guts to chalenge Sonia Gandhi.

Dhoni starts Desi small time low class politics
by sudhir dhar on Mar 22, 2008 12:25 PM  | Hide replies

What else was expected?
This is India, we have stupid morons like Dhoni at ecery nook and corner.

Gangu dropped Karthik for this idiot.
SRT did sifarish for this back stabber.

Remember there was allegation in the media that Gangu had a contract with his sponsor to play longer at the crease.Any one not know who said it? Well it was Dhoni who alleged it.Typical small time petty baseless stuff.Later on investigation it was completely denied by BCCI.

The person saving Dhoni's skin is another shameless Bihari, so called ex-journalist, Rajiv Shukla.

Its a matter of time, Dhoni is mindlessly, taken the first step towards his own destruction.

Supporters of Dravid, SRT and Gangu will bide their time.

Its a action-reaction world. Wait and watch.

I wonder if Sharad Pawar would give these statements had India lost in 20-20 and CB Series. Would he? Sick of these sensational statements.

Pawar wouldnt have opened his mouth. He would have criticised and blamed the youngsters and dhoni; and same old Ganguly, Dravid, laxman and Kumble would have played 20/20 and ODI's.
