We should play more one-day and 20/20. Test cricket is just too boring. It is much easier to score runs in Test cricket - centuries are hugely overrated. Thats why even people like Kumble can score a century in Tests. 20/20 is the real cricket.
The first day of the first test match will be extremely crucial. If SA bat first and don't lose wickets, and look to set up a daunting total, all the momentum generated from the Aussie tour success would be left behind psychologically.
If India bats first and SA get 7-8 wickets DAY 1, India would lose the edge they are carrying with more expectations than ever. SA have little to lose, India on the other hand is tired from the Aussie tour.
First day extremely crucial. Hope India routs SA, inshallah :-)
Sachin started before Kirsten started playing. And they both played in same time. Now Kirsten retired and is now being India's Coach. But still Sachin is playing. I STILL WONDER HIS STAMINA TO PLAY FOR MORE THAN CONTINUOUS 18 YEARS. GREAT PLAYER.

Yes, Sachin is gifted to play in India even he scores a half dozen golden ducks and in the middle a few 50s and one or two 100s thereof. No one is as gifted as Sachin to stick himself in team amidst half a dozen to full dozen GOLDEN DUCKS, cos, after a couple of golden ducks many might be shown way out of the dressin room for ever

SA have been playing Bangladesh recently and though they have won, its not a big achievement and does not indicate that they are in very good form. India has played well in Australia which is a big achievement and if those umpiring errors were not made, then the test result would have been in favour of India. So I think our players will perform well. Also in paper, we are a more talanted team.
