Our India has equal/better principles of constitution for Democracy, free-speech and free-market on paper compared to western democracies like the USA. In a way, I am exercising my "right to opinion" in our free-speech and free-market country to voice against an organisation which is going against free-market principles like HOLDING-all-cricket-grounds, black-mailing cricketers, affliates and even sponsors. Man, I dont know, why no law enfrocement body is suing BCCI. When BCCI started IPL with same intentions like ICL, why should ICL be discriminated. Mr.Chandra, think this step from ICC as harbinger of good signs for ICL. The next step from ICC should be...any player playing in ICL will be considered to play for their respective countries. NO BAN. Hey Mr. Vijay, Mr.Khan, Mr.Mukesh..all you big pocketed folks..we will watch ICL and not your hyped, star-studded IPL. Thanks ICC, you have shown that you will not be eaten by BCCI. A bunch of people who claim to run BCCI, which is not a public-listed company (but only a private organisation) and has made a transaction of over a Billion-US-Dollars in overnight and claim to start a new lifted-concept called IPL by monopolising the whole business of cricket, without any prethought, that someday some court-of-law might give any decisions against that organisation (may be in India or may in England or Australia)

Mam I think we need to raise our voice against the advertisements for Petroliom products. Why Petrol companies require a brand ambassodor or advertisements. All vehicle will run by petrolium products. No one will purchase petrol or deisels, if they do not have a vehicle. I think we can get atleast Rs 5/- less from the current petroloium rates, if the Petrolium compies stop displaying ads. They are paying crores amount to stars and channels. Who will raise voice against such activities. Can you take this matter to the PM level

I am skeptical and as a tax-paying citizen of this nation, I have no problem in spending some time on this and raising the voice against this gambling game which could ultimately effect common-man coz our obsesssion for the game will rise the cost of services, we live daily. Billion-dollared Big businesses should be run only run by public-listed-companies.
If you ALL get this point, I am sure u will start to realise, what I am talking about.
I will not watch IPL..I will watch ICL.
I will not watch Sony TV..I will watch ZeeTV.
I will not buy tickets in Stadium for IPL..I will buy tickets in Stadium for ICL
I will not buy Reliance Petrol..I will buy IndianOil Regular/XtraPremium
I will not subscribe to DeccanChronicle Newspaper..I will subsribe to TIMESOFINDIA
I will not buy ChennaiIndiaCements...I will buy Ambuja Cements for my house
I will not see SharukhKhan's movies..I will watch AmeerKhan's movies
I will not Fly KingFisher...I will fly JetAirways/SpiceJet
I will not watch STAR-TV (low-brand-valued-Australians owning the Jaipur team)...I will watch ZeeTV (hamara Indian) channels.
When I can live my life happily with easy alternative options, why should I watch IPL. Never.

I also want my own league. Why only BCCI and Zee TV. My friends Ballu also wants his own after exams. We are looking for alternate cement companies to sponsor. If not we will get some chawanprash or condom company. WE ALL WANT OUR OWN LEAGUES.

Do we have any fast bowler to take 5 wickets in 40 overs on a pitch like we had in chennai.
The first day of the first test match will be extremely crucial. If SA bat first and don't lose wickets, and look to set up a daunting total, all the momentum generated from the Aussie tour success would be left behind psychologically.
If India bats first and SA get 7-8 wickets DAY 1, India would lose the edge they are carrying with more expectations than ever. SA have little to lose, India on the other hand is tired from the Aussie tour.
First day extremely crucial. Hope India routs SA, inshallah :-)
Maan.. I think rediff journalists should know how to post an article. Why do they use wrong terms. Why should robin singh get axed. I think thanks to him, that our young team is doing a good job. the indian fielding std. has gone done,even the youngstres have been below par in the field,robin should be axed.
i think he is the one man who deserves all the accolades for the performance of this indian team in teh last one year.he has shaped our fast bowling and its one of the worlds best now..he is dedicated , knows what he is doing, and wants to serve the country. he will work wonders in future too.. carry on venkatesh, we love u and cherish u a lot..ur a gem of indian cricket

Why dont rediff gives ICL news, the score cards, two very hot matches in last 3 days, one b/n Chennai-Kolkata another todays Hyderabad-Kolkata....entertaining and clean cricket.... Request rediff to post these matches...dont biased to IPL
If the quality of our fast bowlers and fielders has tremendously improved, in recent times, it is mainly due to the painstaking efforts of Venkatesh Prasad & Robin Singh and the results are clearly showing. Unfortunately, both these stalwarts have not received the kind of recogni- tion they deserve from BCCI yet. High time they are honoured. Compared to the mess in hockey management, both of them have done wonders for Indian cricket.
It would have been better if we had a bunch of great fast bowlers. Every cricketing nation has great bunch of fast bowlers and very few have bunch of great fast bowlers
