Considering the triumph of Dhoni and his young team forget about dropping seniors.... Dhoni now should demand for selection of people like Lallu Prasad Yadav and likewise characters. This would give indian cricket taste of comedy and since dhoni is there winning is not a problem.
the team would not have even gotten to finals. Let Dhoni say all he wants about the young team, but just with better fielders and runners between the wickets , you don't win matches. Also remember our bowlers did very well thru the trip, and the credit goes to V Prasad.
show some consistency (without Sachin) and then you can take credit for youngistan team. First of all your performance in tests and ODIs were 2 extreems (not sure if this was deliberate), then your unorthodox not technically sound batting style (swinging bat like Dhobi) it's only matter of time before it exposes you, and the where's the aggressive Dhoni who landed to the cricket scene, your strike rate have been worst than some the bowlers' strick rates. Going around in Ad commercials and dancing in bollywood parties will not get your the respect in the long run. Learn few things from the true heros are Sachin, Dravid, Kumble, who quietly perform on the field.

This is very good to keep enjoying victories and encourage them to do more instead of commenting through media to dictate your intensions on people. Dhoni might won a series in australia and T20 WC, but it is not all over his career. He have lot more to do and he should remember one thing he played under some great legends of indian cricket who are famous with their performance only not by criticising others. Beaing a Batsman what is dhonis performance recently everyone knows. When the team performing well the credit shold go to team the captain should stand behind the team and motivate them the team to do much more good things. Tomorrow while dhoni playing Tests he has to play with seniour players only by saying some ugly comments through media dont kill the integrity of TEAM INDIA.

Dhoni is absolutely right. The team has to be YOUNG HEAVY with one or two seniors thrown in at the most. In fact even that is not required because in the CB series Sachin clicked only in the two finals. The young team virtually made it to the finals with minimal contribution from Sachin which any other youngster could also have done.

The experts comments are flawed too. Its not just the Gambhir special that has been the highlight of the ODIs. Dhoni's focus was on "faster legs" for better running between the wickets and fielding. India saved a lot of runs and converted half chances because of he energetic fielding. And, as far as batting is concerned, Rohit Sharma, has been another highlight. Dhoni was spot on in realizing its hard to hit sixes on Aussie grounds, hence used the big size of the ground to team's advantage by making maximum use of running between wickets. Youngsters choice was apt.
The rule of dropping dravid from odis after five bad innings applied to all players then dhoni, tendulkar, yuvraj harbajan would have shown the door long time before.Dhoni forgotten that dravid and ganguly had proved their worth in odis.. dhoni did good job as a captain and Wkeeper But as a batsman he was failed to score runs in WI, SA, and England. wih him And it was dravid who suggested dhoni's name for captaicy and supported him Dhoni will be himbutsmiling until his loyalty to strong mumbai lobby and their spport. Even ganguly who shifted from Dalmiya capmp to mumbai lobby was dropped and dhoni will be flying high till Vengi and Co will come up with new aganda.. whole country knows that it is tendulkar wish to playn WC2011 and when 10dlakr makes up his mind to announce the captaicy officialy ( so dhoni is namesake captian )dhoni will in dust.... Dear Dhoni, While I respect what you have done for the Indian team so far, it would be nice to remind yourself that wind blows in both directions. You have had a pinch of success so far doesn't mean that it is immortal.What you allege at the seniors could be alleged back at you after a while. Also, you could turn thirty plus in a few years time.There could be someone to send the 'message across' to you as well.
Now, you are asking the public to shut up for which you have no rights at all. Please don't be intoxicated with your successes and behave like a dictator. Tomorrow if you don't play well in 5 or 6 innings you also could be thrown out. It would be good to remember. You've axed 2 of the great players of the country. You have your own reasons for that. Fine. But don't try to belittle them by talking to the media, for you have to do what they've done in their careeres. Also, a major success factor in Australia was one of the so called - 'to be axed'- Sachin Tendulkar. Atleast, for once you could've acknowledged the value of this great legend. Once he goes out, let's see as to who would be your batting lynchpin. So, don't be so overconfident and arrogant, or it might bounce hack at you and most importantly, you would realise it!!!

You are absolutly right, when he reach around 30, i am very sure these 3 World class crickers play very big role in the team selection (Like vensargar). That day he realise the current situation.
Also i never agree our young team made this victory, but i agree we got very good consistent bowlers sharma and praveen, very long time we are waiting for 2 good bowler to bowl from both end. Without sachin strike a good score, india never cross 200 other than one match which is gambir strike 100 (washout match)

Well said - let's respect Dhoni's judgment in team selection, but let him not get cocky and use media to send messages to great seniors.
