ICC , as the apex body on world cricket is supposed to be responsible for fair cricket organized on mega commercial scale all over the world . In these games the interest of players, general public, sponsors, corporate world, TV viewers and of all other stake holders are involved. Under these circumstances the individual Nation Cricket bodies and ICC cannot simply wash off their hands from a cricketing event like ICL. First BCCI must lift the ban on ICL cricketers from representing National side because that is discriminatory. For argument sake can a future Sachin Tendulkar produced by ICL be ignored by BCCI in the National Interest ? On the other hand, while all ICC Vigilance codes are supposed to apply to IPL matches should not the same be also made applicable to ICL matches to avoid any form of corruption in the organizing and playing of the games ? For example the composition of the team L/BADSHAH by ICL is not in conformity with other competing team compositions, giving it a decisive advantage even before a ball is bowled ! Who is going to check such irregularities by ICL ?
i think there shud b an inquiry in india by competion commision...as it is obvious that BCCI are using their Monopoly power to shut out competion....as IPL is domesctc league now were does that leave ICL...just another rajni or less..shame really
look i belive ICL made a nice attempt to create something....however they shud or been more innovative like IPL as they got there first....now BCCI has come to take the competion out of the equation....and ICL will dissappear in the next 2 years guranteed and IPL will replace...becoz paise bola ta hai...
We can lot of young and unknown players playing in the ICL and also earning some money to lead a respectable life. Whereas in ipl , u cannot find such of players. The players making to the ICL are unknown and unheard , where as bcci is using double standards in purchasing foreign players at such a high price. This money could have been used in a much better way.Increase the pension amount to the retired players , opening of new cricket acadamies and also helping out unheard poor staff of ground , who maintain the stadium. Everybody out there wants to earn money and ICL doing it in decent way by promoting the game of cricket and also earing the money. ipl has become a tamasha and tit for tat game. Good luck for Kapil Dev led ICL.
BCCI SHOULD RECOGNIZE ICL IN THE INTEREST OF INDIAN CRICKET. THIS IS BECAZ IF ONE OR TWO TOP CORPORATE GROUP BACKS UP ICL GROUP IN TERMS OF MONEY AND RESOURCES THEN BCCI WILL BITE THE NAILS....BEFORE THAT IT SHOULD RECOGNIZE ICL AND PATCH UP IN THE INTEREST OF THE GAME.

RAHUL I TOTALLY AGREE WITH U...BASICALLY IT A MATTER OF TIME....GIVEN THE WAY THE BCCI AND ICC ARE LEADING.....ONCE WE HAVE SIMILAR TO WHAT ICL HAS IN TWO OR MORE CRICKETING NATIONS....OTHERS WILL FOLLOW AND THEN THE COLLAPSE OF BCCI & ICL AND OTHER OFFICIAL CRICKETING BODIES IS SURE......THE WAY ICL HAS STARTED AND LEADING I THINK WE CAN HAVE PARALLEL WORLD CRIKETING BODIES RUNNING....WILL BE WORTH WATCHING

Its 'Principal' and Not 'Principle'.....Vijay keswani dont act smart or try to act smart...What Rahul and Rich man says makes sense and what u react is 'NONSENSE'.
ICL is private organization and its working towards growing Cricket within India. They have shown BCCI that they will no nail down against BCCI and ICC. Current ICL matches are going in great gun. I am really enjoying to see new talents in India. IPL will be like Bollywood movie. Each and every match will be fix. So they can earn money in betting.
