They are using strong arm tactics to ban players who select ICL over IPL. Even after earning hundreds of crores they are still greedy and want to grab the money from the TV market. It is time BCCI is handed over to professional organization where the administrators are paid employees with full accountability. But sadyly it will not happen. The more they try to ban players from ICL, the more popular ICL will become and very quickly it will spread to grass roots level because ICL gives a chance to players who normally dont get a chance whereas IPL is mostly international players. Whatever they say, test cricket will soon be history as BCCI now wants ICC to put IPL in the schedule. Why would they do that? What are the other boards getting in return?

They are using strong arm tactics to ban players who play for ICL. Even after earning hundreds of crores they are still greedy and want to grab all the money from the TV rights. It is time BCCI is handed over to a professional organization where the administrators are paid employees and are accoutable for their work, unlike the current who have no accountability. But sadyly it will not happen. The more they try to ban players from ICL, the more popular ICL will become and very quickly it will spread to grass roots level because ICL gives a chance to players who normally dont get a exposure to international cricket, whereas IPL consists of mostly international players for the star value they bring which in turn helps them get lots of money. Ultimately test cricket will be part of history as BCCI now wants ICC to provide a window in the yearly calendar for IPL. Why would they do that? What are the other boards getting in return?
Its really sad to know that any player can play in the IPL but whoever chooses ICL can't represent their home country. The only reason Shane Bond can't play for New Zealand is because he is playing for a league that is not backed by BCCI. I wonder how is he any different from any of the players who signed up for the IPL. We always knew that BCCI is crooked and besides the playing eleven of the Indian cricket team, they have treated the Indian domestic cricketers really bad. I hope ICL keeps growing and eventually overtakes the IPL, because ICL is supporting talent, not necessarity stars.
IF THERE IS ANY SENSE LEFT IN THIS WORLD ICL WILL BE RECOGNIZED AND PEOPLE PLAYING FOR ICL WILL GET OPPORTUNITIES TO PLAY FOR THEIR NATIONAL SIDES....DON'T WORRY KAPIL DEV & CO...INDIAN CRICKET FAN KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD FOR INDIAN CRICKET!!!
