Dhoni should be kicked - for sacrificing a lamb
by pravin dandegaonkar on Mar 14, 2008 12:30 AM  | Hide replies

I personally wont like such person to lead our country. To fulfill his vow he has sacrificed a lamb..what a great leader.
He shud be pulled to the court and prosecuted.
No one is bigger than the game and no one shud find an excuse to do such things in prospering india.
Share ur views.Pls dnt tell me all bullshit like how many people eat nonveg, still many people follow such traditions in tribal parts of india etc.

So in short a person who adheres to your view should only respond... well, then it does'nt matter what you feel about Dhoni.

Sachin is best
by sunil vyas on Mar 13, 2008 06:16 PM  | Hide replies

Martin Crowe once said. Sachin has invented some new shots. For example, the straight batted paddle, which goes behind the keeper. He is a very quick learner and adapts his game to the situation. His killer instincts and attitude of taking revenge with particular bowlers adds spice to his batting. A very committed fielder who gives his best while fielding even after a long innings while batting. Sachin is simply the greatest cricketer on earth. The consistency at which he plays, his simplicity proves that he is one of the best.Sachin is honest, committed, sincere and a thorough gentleman.Sachin Tendulkar being a busy batsman in the world has bought about a new dimension to Indian cricket. One has to agree to the fact that he is the best Indian living irrespective of the wealth and fame he possesses. When we talk of Sachin we are talking about the greatest son of mother India.Sachin as a person appears to be cool, calm and always smiling cheerfully.Extraordinary cricketer. Great brain as a cricket player. Tackles the situation very smartly. Great man to have in the team particularly when it comes to the crunch situation.

Learn from Sachin
by sunil vyas on Mar 13, 2008 06:15 PM  | Hide replies

In terms of technique and compactness, Tendulkar is the best. Technically he stands out as the best because of his ability to increase the pace at will. Sachin is perhaps only next to the Don. A complete batsman. He's the best in the business. Sachin is an attacker. He has an uncanny ability to come out on top under different circumstances and under different conditions, whether it is Test cricket or one-day internationals. He is a perfectly balanced batsman and knows perfectly well when to attack and when to play defensive cricket. He has developed the ability to treat bowlers all over the world with contempt and can destroy any attack with utmost ease. He's a phenomenon. He has defined cricket in his fabulous, impeccable manner. The crowd always expects him to succeed and it is too much pressure on him.Technically, you can't fault Sachin. Seam or spin, fast or slow ? nothing is a problem. See the stillness of his head, his straight back-lift, the ease with which he played his shots and their wide range. The fact of the matter is that India still need Sachin in a big way. All this talk of the youngsters taking over is very foolish. The reason why Tendulkar is so important for the team is because of his ability to inspire others and make them perform under pressure.Cricketers like Sachin come once in a lifetime and I am privileged he is playing in my time.

its a good idea to be a global person, but its also good to belong somewhere.

honestly speaking, everyone is doing for themselves, and in the process they also do it for their country. but they never tell they are doing it for themselves. atleast you have the courage to say so. thats good

Terrific Intent - Anil Kumble
by Achyutha Raghunath on Mar 13, 2008 04:34 PM

Kumble showed a great character in recently concluded Test Series against Australia. Kumble has been a very good ambassador for the game & always plays with a positive intent. His body language never drops. He should have been made Captain after Azhar was dropped as he was the vice captain then (in 1996 against SA).

Thanks to politics in Indian Cricket, we had Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid, Dhoni all these men. Kumble also resigned the One day cricket because of frustration as neither Ganguly nor Dravid had complete confidence in him.

Most of the Wickets what Anil Kumble has picked are against top order players as Indian opening bowlers struggled to pick up wickets mostly.

I wish Kumble plays for few more years & picks up few more wickets.

Hats off to Kumble.

A story on a common diisease...named Common Man
by Bublu Bhuyan on Mar 13, 2008 04:26 PM  | Hide replies

This is what common man commented on me and yet he says he is not a RACIST. WHat a pathhetic world this is?

Hi Bublu Bhuyan, what is your height? - WHO CARES WHAT MY HEIGHT IS.

Didn't you know that commenting on someone's skin color, physical appearence is an offence? This is a form of racism. - I DIDN'T COMMENT ANYONE'S PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

I bet you will wet your pants yellow, standing in front of a projectile (cricket ball, in case you do not understand) being thrown at you at a speed of 140 kmph (Lee, Shoaib, Akram, Waqar) and still aim at it, hit with your force and pack it away for a towering six. - Common Man, HE WANTS ME TO WET PANTS, NOW, WHAT KIND OF A GENTLEMANLY COMMENT WAS THAT. COMMENTS WERE MADE BY HIS TINY(OR SHOULD I SAY BIG) HOLE HE USES TO SEND THINGS TO HIS STOMACH.

Forget about a leather ball. Stand and face a tennis ball hurled at you at 140 kmph... IS HE A CHALLENGER, ON BALLS, THAT'S WHY I QUESTIONED WHETHER HE HAD ANY OF THE ONE OR BOTH NOR NEITHER.

What senseless comments you are posting man???
OH! H0RRIBLE COMMENTS WAS FROM Common Man

Come on Guys, Common Man is a C0mm0n dise@se.....to this Forum.

Say it again. Right...

RE:A story on a common diisease...named Common Man
by Common Man on Mar 13, 2008 05:01 PM
Hey Bublu Bhuyan, my dear friend. Here you are:

Let me explain OK:

I asked your height: Because you demanded that Sachin use a stool to face fast bouncers. Hence I wondered how tall are you.

Exactly, you said it right: Who cares what is your height? Neither you too seem to care about it.

It is a known fact that Sachin is of slightly below-normal height as per Indian standards. You said he should use a stool. That's why I wrote that. See, you started it.

Now, coming back to the speed of the projetiles thrown at you: Yes, I did make those comments because normally if we are not used to facing such fast projectiles being thrown at us.

Hence I requested you to keep your mouth shut in a polite and a decent way. I am not still being racist here.

I am not a challenger on balls. For your kind information, I do have two of them right inside my pants. Thanks for your curiosity. I can show it to you when we meet face-to-face.

Yes. I called your comments as senseless as they were senseless and irrelevant.

I am not a common disease to this forum. I beg to disagree.

Instead of igniting negative flames and passions in the readers, had you been a little more constructive in your criticism and the selection of your language, things would not have taken this proportion, my dear friend.

But, you know what, you can post anything you want!!! I will neither react to your posts nor respond to it.

Please go ahead!!!

Get a life, you (un)Common Man. My criticism was a far polite and subtle until you unveiled all in an ugly fasion. Get a hard copy of my comment and your expansion of it in a theoretical fashion.Oops...

Don't do that to scare others repulsing from your waves thereon.

You too could go ahead, after all its the same old sh.t.
