India still need Sachin

In terms of technique and compactness, Tendulkar is the best. Technically he stands out as the best because of his ability to increase the pace at will. Sachin is perhaps only next to the Don. A complete batsman. He's the best in the business. Sachin is an attacker. He has an uncanny ability to come out on top under different circumstances and under different conditions, whether it is Test cricket or one-day internationals. He is a perfectly balanced batsman and knows perfectly well when to attack and when to play defensive cricket. He has developed the ability to treat bowlers all over the world with contempt and can destroy any attack with utmost ease. He's a phenomenon. He has defined cricket in his fabulous, impeccable manner. The crowd always expects him to succeed and it is too much pressure on him.Technically, you can't fault Sachin. Seam or spin, fast or slow ? nothing is a problem. See the stillness of his head, his straight back-lift, the ease with which he played his shots and their wide range. The fact of the matter is that India still need Sachin in a big way. All this talk of the youngsters taking over is very foolish. The reason why Tendulkar is so important for the team is because of his ability to inspire others and make them perform under pressure.Cricketers like Sachin come once in a lifetime and I am privileged he is playing in my time.

hey are u mad. how can u compare don with any other modern era batsmen. don played in a hostile pace bowling condition without wearing helmet and protection like modern day batsmen. even in that condition he maintained an average of 99 and missed hundred just because he was out on a duck of the final innings. can sachin reach atleast an average of 70

Subbu.
You don't know how to compare? How do you compare Aussie batsmen with Indian batsmen today?
Do they face the same bowlers? No. Do they play with the same bats? No. Do they play against the same fielders? No.
So in theory, you can't compare anyone with anyone else. Give me one comparison which is "reasonable" according to you, and let me show you how "unreasonable" it is.

How we can say? Because bradman played cricket in olden days. If both players are playing in same period, we can compare with others. Do not compare with who is better for other. Sachin played with great bowlers like shane warne, wasim akram, walsh, mc grath etc. there was not much specialised bowlers in bradmans age. The Don achieved but you cannot compare those undemanding runs scored against amateurs in the 30's and 40's to Sachin's, scored against the modern era fast bowlers and real spinners. The Don scored most of his runs against bumbling, clumsy, inept, limited, unfit, sometimes ageing upper class twits with speed on a par with today's club cricketers. There was no Marshall, Ambrose or Walsh. There was no Hadlee, McGrath or Lillee. There was no Akram or Waqar and there certainly was no Warne or Muralitharan to face so how can you measure his runs reasonably? You cannot! What you do know is that The Little Master has faced the finest bowlers ever, all over world in and all situations showing his indefinable excellence given only to geniuses. He has made runs all over the world in all conditions. His century as a 19-year old on a lightning fast pitch at the WACA was considered the greatest innings ever to have been played in Australia. He is now adapting to new realties especially when bowlers adapt a bodyline strategy, giving him the chance to highlight his bravery. He has gone from artist to warrior whilst keeping himself reserved and modest. His batting shows perfect a

He should continue for atleast 4 more years and then immediately take up the role of coach....he will be the best coach in the world..

I WOULD STILL LIKE TO SEE SACHIN TENDULKAR AS PART OF THE 2011 WC TEAM...
