Rahul is a gifted player and he played not for records, I sincerely feel for this unsung hero many mathches he won for us and stood like a wall for the opponent when Sachin and his likes did not played to their potential. People like Rahul is a forgotten hero coz he never went for records and perished for the cause of team. The only blemish he carried is his too close proximity with Greg the Guru, where he should have otherwise been open to everyone rather than being his weapon. Its a thankless world if your records doesnot shows Tons and milestones you are easily forgetten as a nonexistent that has happened in RAhul's case. His contribution to the Indian cricket his forgotten, if was not in good form recent years, then wait till he restrain his forms. I know he will come up like Ganguly and leave the Indian cricket with grace rather than being mistreated and sidelined in the so called GENTLEMANS GAME by the unscruplous selectors, who has to learn some etiquitte of how to behave like GENTLEMAN. RAhul if can hear me don't worry there is a Gentleman above us all, who shall give justice this money-minded and media hunger people are mere mortals to expect fair justice.

Agreed that rahul is amoung the best players india has ever produced, but don't say that he never played to achieve something for himself. Like in each field it is true for cricket also, that when ever you do good deeds you are praised, one wrong move, you are gone and no one remember what good things you did. By playing in IPL, he has go a chance to prove his stature. So now forgetting everything dravid should prove that he is still amoung the best and that the only thing he can do to retire gracefully

No body is complaining about facts but every one wants to comment about cricket....................Because cricket is the only thing where indians come together as indians........

these are the people who have created history in all forms of the game. and til date only experience people are playing. most of the youungsters are worthless and that too at a cost of dravid and dada. specially yuvraj should take retirement.
If he keeps playing the way he have been, he Test average would drop below 50. Just look at his performance since September 2006 -
1. SA Test series - Ave 18 2. DLF Cup - Ave 9.75 3. England Test series - Ave - 25 4. Australia Test series - Ave 33 5. Australia ODI series - Ave 8 6. Pakistan test series - Ave 33

You have been very choosy mr Bublu. Was it coincidence that u avoided series in which dravid fired. You forgot the 93 he made of 60 odd balls in england last year.

That was 1 match. Even in that series against England, he didn't have a good average.
Martin Crowe once said. Sachin has invented some new shots. For example, the straight batted paddle, which goes behind the keeper. He is a very quick learner and adapts his game to the situation. His killer instincts and attitude of taking revenge with particular bowlers adds spice to his batting. A very committed fielder who gives his best while fielding even after a long innings while batting. Sachin is simply the greatest cricketer on earth. The consistency at which he plays, his simplicity proves that he is one of the best.Sachin is honest, committed, sincere and a thorough gentleman.Sachin Tendulkar being a busy batsman in the world has bought about a new dimension to Indian cricket. One has to agree to the fact that he is the best Indian living irrespective of the wealth and fame he possesses. When we talk of Sachin we are talking about the greatest son of mother India.Sachin as a person appears to be cool, calm and always smiling cheerfully.Extraordinary cricketer. Great brain as a cricket player. Tackles the situation very smartly. Great man to have in the team particularly when it comes to the crunch situation.

Sachin a great player.. i agree. But, rest of the players may not present the same what sachin does. There is a too difference between one to another. If dravid plays in same manner u may not recollect sachin. So, everbody has their individual game planning according to thier capacities. (For example: Even our hand fingures are not having similar hights) BE COOL MY DEAR SUNIL VYAS, CRICKET IS A GENTLEMEN GAME. OK.

Yea, no matter how much anyone screams, the sun will always be bigger than the earth. Likewise, Tendulkar at any given day is better than Dravid.

What about Ganguly. He is a God of bongs. I think he is the best joker with all his clumsiness.

Oye yede Sunil Vyas, chal paka mat kya...bohot pakaata hai yaar. Sachin teri phoophi ka ladka hai kya? Chal re hawa aan de abhi, bohut hua sachin sachin, jab retire hoga to tu cricket dekhna chor dega kya? He is great but not the greatest to walk the eart man. And all said and done, you seem to be someone who will be the first to throw a rock at him when he gets out on ducks against Brett Lee next time. So whats the point of all this. You guys change colours like chameleons, rather just calm your emotions down man and keep your hormones in check.
