right vaibhav. passing 12th was delayed for parthiv due to his non-appearance in exam being on ckt tours.
India%u2019s win in Australia was just unthinkable without the support of this legend, just see, Sachin scored highest runs in all 3 three matches that India won in Australia or India would have definitely lost all 3 matches and even India wouldn%u2019t have reached the finals. Anybody who knows cricket deeply will easily understand this fact. Even in first final it was Sachin who made Rohit to make a stand with him, also everybody knows that when Sachin is at one end then he just makes the batting easier for the partner as the whole focus and strategy of opponents is on Sachin and also Sachin keeps on giving tips on different types of bowling. Facing the new ball was main and the only problem of Indian batsman and Sachin just made it look very easy by keeping his wicket intact in initial attacking over and then attacking very sensibly and intelligently. Even in second final it was Sachin was who made Utthappa to make stand for a big partnership of 94 runs, hence proved Sachin is a big team man who gets along with any player. So in all it was Sachin who made the big difference. After Sachin young bowlers r to be given the credit and not the young batsman.
Patel seems to have high contacts in the RIGHT places. He was a horrible Wicket Keeper who used to miss 3-4 chances PER Test Match. The Baroda lobby is very strong and thats the reason even a tried and tested lazy, flop bowler like Munaf also keeps making comebacks.

i guess u r wrong...he is a better test wc then MSD. u can have a look at his batt avg, that was pretty better then dhoni. he was sidelined just because of his inability to hit huge sixes like dhoni. i will rate him better then dhoni in test matches.

agreed neha. parthiv has been prolific scorers in the recent season. and he has proved his mettle against the likes of shoaib/sami at their peak and lee in their own den. unlike dhoni, who is lion in sub-continent pitches. and parthiv is definitely a better keeper than during his teens.

I was a fan of PP when he burst on to the screen, and for a brief period of time, I like many other indians thought, Ganguly had unearthed wicketkeeper avatar of Tendulkar. I remember wondering the amount of records PP would break if he cemented his place in the Indian team. After a bright start, his career went like a hand cart on a down-hill slope. Its sad that he is not even No. 2 choice now. Frankly, Gilchrist has taken expectations from a WK to such a high level that PP may never be able to get back in Indian team. And, by the way, after Gilchrist's retirement, MSD is the deadliest WK allrounder around.
Some stats: PP scored 669 runs @ 31.85 in 19 mathces with a highest of 69. MSD has scored 1304 runs @34.31 in 26 matches with a highest of 148.
Thats just numbers, and then you can count the fact that MSD is a match winner, vice captain.

the entire vadodara lobby is maharastrian dominated--does not require rocket science to undersatnd the connection.
