this shows how mean and how selfish you r . when ganguly was winning matches for the country you said he is great and nobody has leaded the team like him now since he is not there you r saying ill of him. All the players play for the country and we should respect them if you think you are better player than all then why dont you go and prove yourselves

bublu, your data looks good.since you are a sachin fan their is no surprise you are good in coolecting records but what a insane data that was.if you have a close look then your data is a tricky manipulation to emphasize the readers in the forum that sachin is a match winner.first of all winning MOS never mean he is the match winner..try to get some brain here.your data is mixer version of what is the sachin's highest contribution in each series where you could only see MOS against south africa and bangladesh..first of all in south africa series the real match winner is sree saranth not tendulkar..though he won MOS it never mean he was the match winner.second winning bangladesh is not a big deal, but remember he failed to do that in big tournament like world cup against the same team. You itself have accepted he is neither MOS or match winner in england series, this means somebody other than him is the real winner.since he plays for records his name is there so there is no surprise.there is nothing to discuss against the series with australia in india, because his scores are waste when india failed to win the test and ODI.Your pakistan example looks very comedy and it is perfect example how you are trying to picture his contrubution with out any real performance. His part time bowling in india's spin wickets has nothing to with performance,so please dont try to project some thing great about that..gaining two wickets doesn't mean he is the match winner in that match.again what are

again.i'm not refusing his all previous records in his career before 2002,i want to emphasize here he is sole match winner and man of the match before that..no doubt..not at all..he dominated the cricket at that time..but after that everything changed..he began to change as a selfish cricketer since he goes out of form after that..he is not playing in his potential and his mere calculation is about records,he tool lot of pain to take care about the records but not winning series for india..that's why he often failed in big matches,,especially in finals..he lost the match winning ability which is something we never accept to realize because we are in the dream of his overall performance before 2002.if you see his play in both the finals in CB series,he game is not at elegant and confident..he is thriving hard for runs to score and reach the records..that's why he got 8 fours in the last match with out any power and confident shots..

continuation......again what are the runs in the reamining onedayers against pakistan..i guess all "single" digits..no wonder in that..you will not picture those.because you want only his good records in the collection of series.so in pakistan series he is not at all a match winner.in test series against australia the match winner for india in second test is ishant sharma, but again there is no use in talking that because still india has lost the test series to australia.finally in the oneday cb series, the match winners are bowlers like ishant sharma and praveen not tendulkar.he just used their efforts to chase the low scoring total in first final. In the second final, this is bowlers who did the job for india to restrict australia before chasing the low score total of 258.if australia was in well form in batting then they have scored 258 very easily becuase they are the team who easily score 300 in chasing as well in targetting setting.

bhayya prabhakaran go and sleep man why ur awake,as per ur say then nobody is a match winner, if u take dravis double hundred last year then he is not alone as agarkar took 6 if he had not then the match would have been a draw, bhayya first learn what is the menaing of a match winner , learn to analyse the stats properly, remove that negative mind set and see things positively, tendulkar already answered critics like u by saying those who have not done anything on field will say somethings as they cant play. if u have guts then go and play on field , face brett lee hit him for a four down the ground or hit an uppercut of Shoib akthat or coem down the track to McGrahth and hit him for a straight six and then talk or else best way is leave the forum and go to sleep

Sachin's crime!
by Another Indian on Mar 06, 2008 09:26 AM  | Hide replies

Scoring runs.

As he scores more runs, the total goes past some past landmarks, which get highlighted somewhere.

Guess what? That is considered to be an undue comparison by some. I mean, if I say India's economy is growing at 10% whereas US economy is growing at 5% (wild guess), what sin am I committing?

Have I said anything about the average per-capita income? Have I said George Bush is a worse leader than Manmohan Singh?

But somehow, the self-appointed pundits of the world will jump upon this opportunity to slang and belittle all parties concerned.

STOP this!

Dhoni, Harbhajan, Sachin - a giant team
by Bill Chakravarti on Mar 06, 2008 09:25 AM  | Hide replies

Up to this week's performance in Sydney and Brisbane, I thought Viv Richards was just ahead of Sachin, but now Tendulkar has gone miles ahead as the world's best in my lifetime.

But in the context of recent performance in Australia, we must appreciate the great aggressive captaincy of MS Dhoni and the ultra-aggressive performance of Harbhajan.

Never have I seen a player who could take the mind game up to the Australians as good as Harbhajan did. He destroyed their psyche.

Needless to say, Ishant Sharma was a revelation, and now Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla will have to be regarded as permanent fixtures for the foreseeable future. Even if Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel were erratic in batting and bowling, they made up in great fielding, which also counts.

But we have to appreciate this as part of an aggressive evolution started by Saurav Ganguly, for which all Indians should be grateful for. Ganguly brought self-respect of Indian players to the world, which was being slightly lost during Dravid's tenure and rectified by Kumble and MS Dhoni.

So Sachin's performance has to be seen in the context of an aggressive captain with very good brains, and an ultra-agressive team prepared to do everything to get it right.

With such a team, we finally saw a Sachin who could play in a relaxed way in the knowledge that he now had a team of young, dedicated and agrressive players who can take the pressure off him.

The one possible

joydeep..you sound like you are already living in mental hospital for curing your brain..with out BRAIN:):)...well now you got a computer to type something rubbish and shout like pig..listen data's or records got nothing to with winning matches and too especiallly in big finals...yeah..i understand no body can win the match in single hand.but remember we are not offending that he should play single handely..but we want to know when he play in finals or chasing runs on a huge total recently..never..he can bat and score some runs in first batting but not chasing..even if he score some runs in second batting his runrate is not all equal to the required run rate and so he leave the field in the middle due to that pressure...Ex:when schewag score 83 in world cup 2003 final chasing a huge total he just got out for a single digit..in that match schewag maintain a good runrate..but no use there is nil contribution from him..there are lot of examples like that..the only difference is that you guys are good in keeping the records to mention at times because naturally sachin fans are crazy about the records so they maintain that..by any chance if you get a chance to see his bating performance recently then remember to collect all the data of his performance in finals..and in chasing 300 runs..recently...i dont think you have that capacity to understand cricket..anyway if you get that then we can give you a prize among mentals that you are no:1..now get out from here and just try that.

Yes Sachin's average and performance is 2nd to only Bradman, I agree. But rediff should not make this look like a big thing. According to me this is a milestone not a record. As Sunil Gavaskar rightly said when he reached 29 centuries that he did not equal Bradman's record but just reached a milestone because Bradman scored 29 hundreds in 52 games Vs 99 games that Gavaskar took.

Is money making a crime? We say the cricketers make money sorry they do not, their performance does they do not get signed because they are good looking they get the money only if they are performing. We think they are doing ad so they are not performing actually it%u2019s the other way round they get ad because they are performing. The day the performance dips so does the ads and the money. If cricketers are greedy then they need to perform better and even better otherwise no one will pay them.Yes if Sachin has made a lot of money that means he is consistently performing for long. The ad and commercial world is ruthless and cruel they drop people as soon as they lose their form. Sachin is the most hardworking cricketers of all times. He even practices in the hotel room during tours no wonder he is the best and is making money.I wish Sachin makes more money and becomes a billionaire. Anyone with such dedication will become rich be it cricket, football, corporate world, creative arts etc
Students should read about Sachin when they re in their teens as he is the right role model.
Think what would happen to you when you are 16 and you are the most popular person in the nation, its easy to lose ones head when you get everything when you are 16. At 16 Sachin was mature as a 36 years old guy.
He is greatest batsman no doubt, but you see his life that%u2019s much greater. In 18 years of cricket he has no controversies, no dissent in spite of being given out many times when he was
