Ricky Ponting's prediction was accurate in an Interview he gave to Times before the start of the finals. Displaying his trade-mark arrogance, he had confidently said "The Third final won't be needed". Wow.. And that's exactly what happened. Full marks to Ricky Ponting for his Brilliant Forecast.
I believe that even our earlier teams were as great as the present team. If not for indulgence in match fixing, we would have won more great matches. Some captains sacrificed Indian interests in exchange for luxurious life styles. After all, we have billion people to choose our team from.
It is unfortunate that in a moment of joy also we can not stand united. Hope, we will enjoy the game and cherish the great trumph of men in blue as a sports person, as an Indian.
Manjerakar has played a major role in this historic win.....long live critics and keep all stars on their toes to achieve more....coz these overpayed stars need some1 to push them up or else they will b satisfied with their achievements

This is really stupid. sachin didn't really fare bad in the previous games. do you think they don't know when they fail. its absolutely absurd. sachin knows better than anybody else. he is a legend. but ppl expect too much from him. did ponting get that much blame when he miserably failed in this entire tri series. but our indians are different. we are not basically desciplined fans. and stupids like manjrekar will always be thre to rub salt on the wounds. exactly one yr back the same players were villains and poor chaps, their effigies were burnt. now after one yr they are heroes to be frank they r gods. we are just too much. we dont how to enjoy the game.
