Its really great to hear from Ponting, good words about Sachin. Nobody can deny the fact that Sachin's good score in final have helped a lot to win the match and its also great quality of Ponting to accept heroics of his competitor.
I wish best luck to Sachin for performing best in future series too and give us enjoyment thru his great knocks and beautiful batting.
Remember Sachin was the top scorer in all 3 matches that India won against Australia in this common wealth series or these matches could have been one sided without the performance of this legend. In all Sachin scored 8 hundreds against Australia and his 7 hundreds led India to Victory wheareas in one match he fought alone to score 143 and India lost that match. Sachin have total 11 man of the match awards against Australia. Given below r the stats of Sachin in matches which were won by India against Australia. Best batsman is at his best against the best attack in the world. 1994 Colombo 110 1996-97 Bangalore 88 1997-98 Kochi 5/32 1997-98 Kanpur 100 1997-98 Sharjah 134 1998-99 Dhaka 141 & 4-38 2000-01 Indore 139 2003-04 Syndey 86 2003-04 Gwalior 100 2007-08 Melbourne 44 (Sachin was the highest scorer) 2007-08 Sydney 117*
tremendous innings from our little master in both the finals.he repeated the memories of what he had done in sharjah long back.innings of maturity lead the team to wrap up the series otherwise with inexperience young team ........struggled
we all know how disciplined is Sachin when come to fitness and it is very helpful for all the sportsperson who has a very serious attitude towards sports.. all the Indian team must realise this and try to learn more from their mistakes.

Abe ..*aale ... Tu Bubulu Bhuyan ho .. ya phir koi bandar.. Hame kya ... Abe .. kabhi gilli danda khel kar bhi jeeta hai. Ek rupiah kamaane ki jiski aukaat nahi chala raja ko gaali dene... Tere jaise paagal ko main roj naga sadak par prime minister tak ko gaali dete dekhta hoon. Bas tu unme se hi ek hai.
Five years ago when India won the Natwest finals against England, we had unearthed two batting stars in Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif. All of us thought that those two along with Virender Sehwag would form the crux of Indian batting line up in the future. Almost six years after the Natwest final, Kaif is no longer part of the Indian team, Yuvraj is still inconsistent and Sehwag's one day average keeps diminishing with every innings he plays. And look who is still leading the Indian team in batting ...the Maestro Sachin himeself !!!

Sachin is the master. Dont you sense when you are complaining the man like Sachin. All the world respects him & gives him a standing elevation & you are blaming. First learn to give the respect to such great person. Learn to behave like an INDIAN. Idiot.
Whether we like his team's attitude or not, they might be very arrogant but Tiger Ponting is one the greatest captains the game of cricket have witnessed.
