Ponting was running short of two or atleast one umpire call Bucnaur, otherwise he and his team mats (monkies-?) are capable of defeat any team with their mother toung -- called slagging to opposite team when they smell defeat...!!!
Thank God there was no cheating today and the result is there for everyone to see, India beat Aussies comprehensively in the second final. Similarly in the Test Sereis a fair result would have been 2-1 for India (if not 2-0 people have forgotten that aussies had cheated in the first test too.) Make no mistake the aussies would have cheated today too (for eg mike hussey caught behind), but the focus of world attention was on them today, as a result the third umpire could not gather the strenght to cheat today. Don't think that Aussies have suddlenly become saints

Dont worry about Indians. Get the aussies to bat atleast 35 overs. They way they are playing 50 overs looks far too many. I am afraid that if they keep playing as they have been, there wont be the third final. Only the thing they are interested is when Harbajan is scracth.

Many had prayed that India be buldozed and thrashed in this tri series. Didn't happen, They beat Aus twice and Srilanka twice. The point has been proven that this team has the potential. Even if this team loses the Final, it doesn't matter.
Many wanted to tear apart Dhoni, it didn't happen. His avg in this series is 77.75 and he played a crucial role n India's win against Srilanka and Aus in the grop league. His captency was very good, kis keeping was excellent. He showed guts by demanding performance from the team and he effectively lead the team from front (by playing responsibly and being instrumental in most of the wins).
It appears from the rediff msg board that many are frustrated seeing India up to the final and beating Aus in their own backyard. They want team India to be mauled, battered and humiliated, else how would they satisfy their narrow minded desires.
