South Africa is at the tip of the African continent and there is no other country below it. Zimbabwe is in the north of South Africa. A lesson in geography would help. As for the merits and demerits of Zimbabwe being recognized as a cricketing country, it is debateable, and only India and Pakistan are giving any credence to it.

I think the author was trying to say south africa and zimbabwe are southern africa neighbours like Andhra Pradesh and Tamil nadu are southern indian neighbouring states!!!
