We kicked out Ganguly, Gambir came in. --do-- Rahul, Rohit --do-- G for G; R for R. S (Suresh Raina) for S? (Sachin)
He went to Bangladesh in 2004, was given a few chances, got to some starts in those matches but then used to throw away his wicket trying play pull or hook shots on the legside against short-pitched balls.
As he rightly says, T20 world cup has restored his self confidence. One now finds that he plans and executes his innings not just in the ODIs, but even in T20 matches, with lot more maturity and intelligence. His IPL performance was a stand out among Indian batsmen.
I sincerely wish that he continues to do well and also gets into Test side ahead of the dour Wassim Jaffer.
