Don't you think we should wait until he actually takes 1,000 wickets. Fatty Ranatunga says he thinks he will take 1,000 wickets - he is till some 250 or so wickets away. His recent stats aren't all that impressive and he might be on the decline. Age does catch up to everybody in the end.
Mr Rahul prasad. Even great Brian Lara did not win world cup for his country? Dont u think he is still the best player along with sachin? Results always doesn't mean everything my friend. Look at IPL. In hyderabad team we've everyone who has excelled gilly, symonds, vaas etc but could't even get to semis. team work always plays a role. Not INDIVIDUAL.

You freaking idiot there is no one on par with The Great Shane. Least of all the BIGGEST CHEAT in world cricket.
Murali sirf apni srilankan ground mein safal hai.Bidesh ke ground mein unka wicket jaada nehin hai.Aur jab srilanka ke ground mein khel hota hai to udhar sirf spin pitch hi karta hai.Warne jab khelta tha to australia mein spin wicket thori na hoti.Australia ka sabhi pitch fast hai nahi to batting wicket hota hai. Isliye warne murli se bhi jaada sera spinner hai.
Yeah Allright and Mahela Jayawardene will score 20,000 runs ............what is Ranatunga a future teller.........Murali is ageing........there has to be some rest to him
It is pity that a cheat is going to land straight into History books. His action is illegal. The question of degrees to which the arm can be bent has been raised to accommodate Murali. With this much help from ICC, and with so much Test Cricket being played, Murali and Sri Lanka should be ashamed if he does not take 1000 wickets.
