Recently India lost very badly ( in fact record defeat) against SA in ahmedbad test. India folded within 100, but SA batsmen prospered. India loses the final of tri series with bowlers sent on leather hunt. Our bowling is geting depleted day by day. Bowling coach is just not doing anything to address this root problem. we seems to concentrating only on batting . this is going to have disastrous results in future.

Where is this MRF academy India spent millions on..also Aussie Bowliing coaches were brought in at horendous cost RESULT.....very few bowlers have come up? Pakistan on the other hand has now.....produced Sohail tanvir, Umer Gul, Rao Iftikhar, and at least 3 juniors which they feel will be lighting fast and have decent skills to make it in test and ODI cricket? MRF is a farse Aussies biking India of money while holding back basic skills to become a quicky Jaw breaking bowler..like Asif/Akhtar...in recent past and historically Pakistan has had too many greats NO COMPARISON between Pak and India on t his one!
Some days earlier against the bangladesh match some one wrote "I am proud to be an indian fan".In the final he was not there to write any thing.Where r u man lets talk abt the final match.

Ganguly's highest ODI rating was in March 2000 when he scored 844 points. His highest ranking ever in ODI was #2 in Jan 2000. His current rating is 503 points.
His 844 points is the 21st best rating ever in ODI. Tendulkar's 887 (in 1998) is the 12th best ODI rating ever. Viv Richards leads the ranking with 935 points followed by Zaheer Abbas, Greg Chappell, Gower, Dean Jones, Miandad,Lara, Haynes, Kirsten, Lamb, Greenidge and Tendulkar.
Sehwag is ranked 56, Dravid is at 68 and Yuvraj at 78
It is indeed very unfortunate that, we are losing in the finals. Firstly, our batsmen were still in the mood of 20-20, which is totally a different ball game. In 20-20 boundries are 60 meters only in 50-50 boundries are 80 meters. Rohit Sharma, Gambhir, Raina all three were out hitting ball straight into the fielders hands thinking that they are playing 20-20 and ground is short. It is very unfortunate that player in the calibre of Utthappa was sitting on the bench. Thirdly bowlers are also off target Irfan Pathan can hold his place as allrounder only. His bowling lacks punch we have seen from him earlies. Chawla needs to be guided properly to bowl from stump to stump. Praveen Kumar got his place in the team as an allrounder. But he still have prove himself with his bat. Chawla too score many runs for UP team in Ranji Trophy, but he too has to prove himself both as bowler and batsman. Yousuf Pathan started promisingly but he must realise that 50-50 is a different ball game. But main disappointment was Raina, i think Raina should have been replaced by Uthapps in the finals. Over all team felt the absence of Tendulkar.

the only one reason why raina was given the chance to play instead of utthappa was he was in chennai superkings team where Dhoni was the captain & utthapa was in mumbai indians. You can't give peference to 20-20 performance unless its exceptionally well like that of shaun marsh.
He was number 1 after the CB series. Graeme Smith played some good innings against Bangladesh and moved to number 1, pushing Tendulkar to number 2. Now Tendulkar is at 3. Funny thing is Tendulkar haven't even played an ODI game after the CB series.

Yeah, ICC is corrupt. If paid money they'll also put Ishant Sharma as the top batsman isn't it ?
What is the big deal about 20th spot, this is like most postings that say Sachin back in Top 10,India in Top 6 and India rooting to get to Top 4,when is Number one going to be the priority and when is mediocrity not be celebrated?
