Hi Maheswari I actually think they've shown more discipline in the two tests thus far against Oz than for a long time. The Oz attack was fairly lame, I will agree, but in other times they would have wilted. I for one would love to see the Windies great again, as I am sure that India is up there, and probably South Africa. No doubt England is doing what it does best (prepare to regain the ashes every 8 years - yes, my prejudice is showing). All joking aside, there is a fair bit going OK with them too (grrrr). Cheers Bob
Kevin peiterson inning was one of the best for his country alas our country claim to have one of the best batsman in the history of cricket but i am yet to witness an inning of kevin peiterson caliber

Please see Australia-India 2007-8 scorecards before posting messages like these. If KP can maintain the same standards even for a period of 5years, he will be nowhere near our best batsman.

but KP is mentally tougher than even the most experienced Indian stars.
Of all his 12 test hundreds, if am right, almost 80% of the centuries have come when the England team was in deep trouble. At least the last 2 he scored against New zealand, the one in Wellington, when he scored 110 when England's score was 4-3 and the one he scored in this test wen the team was 75-5 shows the class. so no need to compare KP with any indian mastroes.
Agreed that they are also great. but more exaggerated by the media, nothing else.
Mr. Ramakrishnan, u forgot the fact that KP is playing his 4th year for England and still continue to avearage near to 50 in both forms of the game with stunning scoring rate!!

ramakrishna KV is playing for only 4 yeras and averaging 50 look at sachin he is playing for 18 long years and averaging 47 in tests and 4 in ODI do u need more to talk about our country greats
CONGRATULATIONS TO ENGLAND.THEY HAVE IMPROVED BY DROPPING PLAYERS LIKE HOGGARD AND HARMISON.INDIA SHOULD ALSO FOLLOW THEIR EXAMPLE AND DROP PLAYERS LIKE DRAVID,GANGULY,LAXMAN AND KUMBLE FROM TEST MATCH TEAMS.
