Mr.Sharma, you are neither a former player not have been intricately involved in the process or selection, cricket administration professionally or otherwise. You had absolutely no qualms in accepting a job which has seriour monetary benefits and is completely non cricketing but when It comes to creating visible results as is part of your job description you cry hoarse and say "Cricket is different...you can own a team not its players". Such kind of schpeel is hallmark of a person who is not qualified for a position he or she held. Have you tried to see things from Mr.Mallya's perspective, if you were to invest close to Rs.400 crores on a project and see no real dividends and have non performing assets, what would you do ?
Let us see you investing 435 crores on a test team and turn up at the bottom of the table in a tournament, just because somebody was a j..ka.s enough to pickup such a team for him. Come on man, this is not commentary, u just give some bs and leave.

Deccans finished last. They are not the test team. It is unpredictable in T20. I don't think Mallaya understands anything about cricket and its uncertainties. Not that i defend Charu. But firing him is not the solution here.

it may not be the right solution, but it sure sends the message across. I think, correct me if I'm wrong, the BRC won a few games after the sack! Right?

:-) No. They won because Mallya very astutely ensured that the cheer leaders skirts were cleaved 2 more inches above their knees.. :-) Or that the price of Oil is increasing worldwide towards the $150 barrel mark... Or that Karnataka elections were really fought well under the Election Commission's control..
Wanna find reasons for RCB's late charge? You'll find aplenty... everything except the good cricket play by RCB is admittedly accepted as the reason for their victory in a few matches.. ;-)
