Drugs and Pakistan cricekt team goes hand in hand. Steve Waugh in his biography has made a mention how he was shocked to see Marijuana being consumed at a party organised by Imran Khan at his residence in London.
Recently, in IPL, Shoaib was dropped after playing two matches in anticipation of the dope tests. He was found with empty syringes in luggage, upon his arrival in India. Mind you BCCI and Sharukh both were in touch with PCB for lifting the ban on Shoaib so that he can play in IPL.
Asif a good bowler capable of moving the ball both ways at high speed, has thrown away his talent over drugs.

one way we say Aussies are worst n the other way we belive their stories...hats off to U
it may b blessing in disguise for pak ckt as asif has been removed from the squad to bangla tri series. last year, shoaib was thrown out of the team to t20 world cup team and newcomer sohail tanvir replaced that arrogant shoaib. and what a player pak has got in tanvir. the same way, a newcomer in place of drug addict asif may shine for pak n remove memories of asif from the public mind thru sheer performance.
its good that asif has been droped from the side. but pcb is known for backtracking as they hv no talent of players. they go to any extent to support their players even if they become jihadi/terrorists also. they cry to shoaib/asif not to leave the pak team.
These paki players like Asif & Shoaib should be banned for life. These drug-addicts are spoiling this gentleman's game. No wonder Pakistan's cricket was on decline after Wasim Akram & Waqar Younis' retirement.

Surely, Wasim and Waqar were great bowlers. However, they were also involved in a drug (Marijuana) abuse case during their West Indies tour in 1993.

100% agreed. and even that time, pcb came in the picture and put carpet on the whole issue by threatening to pull out of the series with wi.
Indians should not worry about Asif. They should be worried about our poor (Wo)man Mohan Singh who will now spend sleepless nights while spending the whole day licking the shoes of Sonia and Priyanka.
